This page has links to District, Region, & Sectional results, as well as a listing of all qualifiers for the Individual & Team divisions of the State Tournament.  It is also the page where all results will be posted...so if you can't be at the site in person, you can keep up with everyone's progress, individuals & team!

All bowlers participating in the tournament should be here 1 hour prior to your scheduled time!!  All bowlers & team members should enter thru the Cafe' entrance, which is to the right of the main entrance, all days of the tournament.  Each team member will have a "participant pass" to get in.  These passes will either be (a) with Coach Mark or (b) at the gate when you arrive.  DO NOT LOSE YOUR PASS!!  If you do, you will have to pay regular admission fees to get in!!Please call your Coach if you have ANY questions - 424-4387.

To all spectators, parents, & fans - the admission fee is going to be $8 a day on Thursday & Friday, and $10 for the day on Saturday.  Finally, even with the strong possibility of snow/ice on Friday & Saturday, the tournament is a "go" for all three days!!  If you have ANY difficulties in getting to the Smyrna Bowling Center, please contact Coach Mark at 424-4387 ASAP!!  Any changes to the schedule of this event will come from the TSSAA staff, and would likely be last minute...so check here at the website or call me for updates, should the weather get really bad.

Thanks to all for your support - and LET'S WIN SOME BOWLING TITLES, CENTRAL!!

Wilson Central has a school & District 10 record seven bowlers who have advanced to the Individual Division of the State Tournament.  Their names, with grade & average, are:

Boys --  JR Clemons (12) – 217 average; Chris Branner (11) – 205; Geremy Roseti (12) – 202; Seth Carey (11) – 199.

Girls -- Brennan Page (12) - 200 average; Danielle Chaffin (11) - 192; Kirstin Page (11) - 190.

All seven will bowl in the Individual Division of the TSSAA State Tournament on Thursday, January 28th - starting at 9:00am.  All bowlers roll 4 games on a "house" shot, with the top 24 scorers continuing on to bowl 4 more games on a "sport" shot pattern - putting a premium on accuracy and spare shooting.  After all 8 games, the top six return on Friday for a round-robin, match-play finals.

To qualify for the tournament, a bowler had to bowl in 2/3 of the season games available, and finish with one of the top 4 averages in the district.  Congrats and Good Luck to all of our SUPER FANTASTIC Central bowlers!!

The Wilson Central boys bowling team won their sectional match today over Hendersonville by a 19-8 score at Hermitage Lanes.  With the win, the Wildcats join the Lady Wildcats for a return trip to the TSSAA State Bowling Tournament, which is slated for later this week – January 28, 29, & 30th.

The Wildcats stormed out to an 8-0 lead in game 1, with all six bowlers rolling over a 200 game.  Their 1371 total gave Central a 225-pin advantage, a lead they would not relinquish.  Junior Chris Branner led all boys today with a great 724 series, on steady games of 240, 248, & 236.  Michael Whitlow got the start for an injured Geremy Roseti, and made the most of it, starting game 1 with the front nine strikes enroute to his personal best 279 game!  Awesome job, Michael!  Final pinfall totals were 3761 for Central to 3454 for the Commandos.  Other good scores were:  Spencer Harp with a nice 672 series (226-214-232); JR Clemons a 660 total (211-228-221); Michael Whitlow finished with a 661 series; and Eric Lane with a 214 in game 1.  Fantastic job, Wildcats...but we have unfinished business to take care of in Smyrna...let's do it!!

The Lady Wildcats are headed back to STATE, after an up-and-down match vs. a very good Hendersonville squad, winning against them by an 18-9 margin.   Jumping out of the gate fast...this girls' team rolled a very nice 1234 in game 1, taking 7 of 8 points!   But the ladies started fading in game 2, and the tables turned against us, as HHS took 7 of 8 from us that game!  After two games, points are tied 8-8, but we are up on total pins by +72 pins.  So, Coach told his girls to go out and "win this ONE game right now!"  And they more than did enough, as they plowed down 1258 pins in game 3 to secure the win!!  Jr. Kirstin Page was the "beast" today, rolling an awesome 230-183-236 for a 649 series!  Way to go, Kirstin!  Other good scores:  Dani Chaffin with a steady 603; Brittany Sisco 228-602 total; & Laurel Everett, who started off struggling some, but rolled a 237 in game 3 for our team High Game for the match.  Great job, LadyCats!!
