The Kentville Wildcats didn't fare any better in interleague play over the weekend, losing both games in New Brunswick. The Wildcats traveled with just one pitcher for the two games on Saturday. In the opener in Fredericton, Jeff Lockhart got the start on the mound, he didn't have much luck against the top team in the NBSBL, as the Cats lost 10-2.
In the second game of the day in Saint John, Kevin Daurie pitched six innings, yielding just two earns runs, but the Wildcats could only muster two runs off Alpines starter Tim More. The Wildcats record mow sits at 3-12.

The Kentville Wildcats play host to the Halifax Pelham Canadians Wednesday night Live on Eastlink from Memorial Park. Game time is at 7:30.
The Kentville Wildcats were swept in the three game series in Sidney over the weekend.

Kentville Wildcats pitcher Corey Kent tossed a one-hitter this afternoon in a 6-1 victory over the Sydney Sooners. Adam Shibinette broke up the no-hit bid with a two-out double in the sixth inning. The Sooners lone run came on two walks, a hit batsman and a sacrifice fly in the ninth. Kent finished with five strikeouts.
