2008 Schedule Released

The schedule for the 2008 Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League season has been released. Kentville kicks off the 30th season of the NSSBL at home versus the defending champion Dartmouth Moosehead Dry Wednesday May 21st. The full Wildcats schedule can be viewed from the schedules link.

Spring Training

The Kentville Wildcats will start spring training this week as the 2008 season is fast approaching. 

 

Please check back, as the season gets closer, the schedule should be released in a few weeks. 

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry defeated the Kentville Wildcats 9-1 tonight to win their fifth consecutive league title, wrapping up the best-of-seven final in five games. Dry left-hander Jason Bailey (4-0 playoff record) was named playoff MVP.

GAME FOUR POSTPONED

With the gloomy forcast of heavy rains, game 4 of the NSSBL final has been postponed today. The game will be play tomorrow night at 7:00pm at Memorial Park in Kentville.

Two Big Innings Sink Wildcats

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored eight times in the first inning and added 10 more in the sixth en route to an 18-4 drubbing of the Kentville Wildcats tonight and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven league championship series.
