Right-hander missed most of 2017 with an injury and was limited to just one appearance, a scoreless and hitless inning at Arlington on July 21... Pitched for the Palmer Club of the Boston Park League in both 2015 & 2016......Won a Park League championship in 2015 when he pitched Game One of the championship series as well as the clinching game five, a one-hit, six inning effort, that beat ADSL 9-0..... Named BPL Playoff MVP in 2015 with 16 innings pitched and a 0.88 ERA while pitching Palmer to the title......Had a career 8-4 record in the BPL with 67 strikeouts in 81.1 innings while appearing in 19 overall games.....Was a Park League all-star and the starting pitcher for the loop against the Intercity League in the 2016 all-star game.....Had a 0.72 ERA and a 2-0 record as an all-star for the Cranberry League champion and Stan Musial Amateur World Series runner-up Braintree White Sox in 2012.....Pitched for the league champion Monmouth Monarchs of the Atlantic Baseball Confederation Collegiate League in 2013......Graduated from the Salisbury School in 2012 when he helped his team to a perfect 36-0 record and was an all New England selectee.....Won a Western New England Championship, finishing 7th in the country, before commititng to Quinnipiac.....Made his NCAA debut for Quinnipiac at Duke University on March 13, 2013....Made 10 appearances as a Freshman for the Bobcats....Transferred to Suffolk University before suffering a collarbone injury in 2017 that halted his season....Hails from Walpole, MA...

31- JOSH DESAI (LHP)

Hometown: Shrewsbury, MA College: Suffolk University
Was named the 2017 ICL Pitcher of the Year in 2017 after going a perfect 7-0 with a regular season ERA of just 0.88......Struck out 68 batters in 47.2 overall innings last summer..... Left-handed pitcher formerly pitched for ADSL of the Boston Park League where he had a career 12-7 record in three seasons....Power pitcher struck out 180 batters in just 128.1 innings during his BPL career......Was named as the winner of the Art Nowell Trophy in 2015 as the Park League's outstanding pitcher.....Started 34 games while at Suffolk University and posted a 3.54 ERA in 208.2 innings while playing for former Chief and then Suffolk Head Coach Cary McConnell who has since assumed the role of the Rams' Athletic Director.....Josh pitched the Worcester Bravehearts to the 2014 Futures Collegiate Baseball League Title as the winning pitcher in a series clinching win over the Martha's Vineyard Sharks.....Also played for the North Shore Navigators.....Was an MVP at Shrewsbury High School in 2011 and had a 13 strikeout no-hitter against North Middlesex Regional.......An Everett, MA native, Josh moved to Shrewsbury prior to his high school days.....

Hometown: Brockton, MA College: Westfield State
Shane came to the Chiefs and the Intercity League at the start of the 2017 season after spending five summers as the starting catcher for the Palmer Club of the Boston Park League......Hit an overall .290 last summer, including .316 in the regular season, while starting 27 games behind the plate....Veteran appeared in 172 games for Palmer from 2012-2016......Hit an overall .271 with 46 RBI's during his tenure......Was part of two championship teams with Palmer in 2014 & 2015.......Hit a career best .314 in 2013 when he was named as a Boston Park League all-star......Is currently on the coaching staff of the Brockton High baseball team......Was a former goaltender for the Boxers during his high school playing days and won the Boston Bruins annual Sportsmanship Award in 2005.......Played baseball at Westfield State College.....

47- ANDREW CAULFIELD (UTL)

Hometown: Malden, MA College: Northern Essex
Hailing locally from Malden, MA, Andrew made his Chiefs and Intercity League debut in 2017...Appeared in six games as a rookie last summer and hit an even .300 with three hits in 10 AB's.... Right-handed hitter previously played for now Malden High School Head Coach Steve Freker and the Malden Bambinos for several summers.......Andrew was part of the Malden Giants of the North Shore League in 2016 where he hit .318 with one home run and 18 RBI's......Has the ability to play almost any position and will be used primarily in a utility role this summer......Earned a trip to the Junior College World Series this past spring with Northern Essex CC....Hit .340 for the Knights with two homers and 15 RBI's while appearing in 17 games.....
