Brandeis senior-to-be has started 114 consecutive games for the Judges in both the outfield and infield....Holds a .323 career average at Brandeis (149-461) with 25 doubles, five triples, nine home runs and 67 RBI....Has stolen 29 bases in 36 attempts during his college career... Hit.312 this past spring with a dozen doubles and three homers.....In 2009, as a sophomore, was the only player to start in all 41 contests at five different positions: third base (18 games), center field (12), left field (4), shortstop (4) and second base (3) and batted .288 with 18 RBI and 26 runs scored...In his freshman year of 2008, Tony became the second-straight Judge to earn UAA Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Association honors leading the team in hits (60), runs scored (37) and total bases (84), while tied for team lead with 33 RBI with 19 multi-hit games....Ended his 2008 season on a six-game streak to finish at .366...Earned first UAA Player of the Week honors on April 28, 2008, after a week in which he hit .429 with 11 RBI, seven runs scored and seven extra-base hits - three HR, two 2B, two 3B...Was a three-sport standout at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA.... Chiefs third year middle infielder just concluded his brilliant four year career at Merrimack College.... Started 168 games for Joe Sarno's Warriors and recorded 200 hits, third on the all-time Merrimack list behind Chiefs Jeff Bercume (231) and Brian Macrina (221)...Started 38 games at shortstop for the Chiefs last season and hit an overall .248 with a team leading seven doubles....Was named a starter in the 2009 ICL all-star game....Hit .316 for the Chiefs in his rookie year of 2008 while starting 27 games....Son of Thomas and Jennifer Pyburn … has one sibling – Tyler... Brendan was a CCL All-Star as a junior and senior at Bishop Fenwick and helped team to state championship as a sophomore...Was a member of Agganis Games and Salem News All-Stars as a senior..Named third team all Northeast-10 Conference in 2008, 2009 & 2010...

Just completed his junior year at D-1 UMass-Amherst where he hit .329 with eight homers, ten doubles, four triples and 34 RBI ... Was named Atlantic-10 Conference's Player of the Week on May 10 when he led the Minutemen at the plate, hitting .500 (11-for-22) with eight runs scored and 10 RBI. Five of his 11 hits were for extra bases, contributing to an .864 slugging percentage and registered four multi-hit games on the week... Malden, MA native also had a big 2009 sophomore spring for the Minutemen when he hit .278 (37-133) while appearing in 42 games and chalking up nine doubles, five home runs and 30 RBI's.... Hit a two run homer in the A-10 Tournament to give UMass a 5-4 win over Fordham....
