Mustangs

With the Westford Rec Department closing the fields due to the weather, Opening Day has been postponed.  The games scheduled for today will be played on Sunday, May 17th.  The Drew Farms - Mustangs game will start at 5:30 and the PST - Healy Oil game is scheduled for 6:45.

After a successful One Pitch Jamboree that saw a number of families enjoy the league sponsored barbeque, the count down is on to opening day.  The 2009 season will begin on Tuesday, May 5th, with a match up between Drews and the Mustangs.  The second game will feature a match up between the regular season champ PST squad and the playoff champ Healy Oil.

A reminder to all teams- league fees and waivers for new players must be provided to a league officer before players can participate.

The 2009 Regular Season schedule has been posted on this web site.  Both the Calendar menu and the Schedule menu in the left margin will list upcoming games.

The 2009 Season will open with a One Pitch Jamboree, to be played on Sunday, May 3rd.  Each team will participate in a 7 inning / one hour game.  All league rules apply, with the noticeable change of each batter only seeing one pitch per at bat.

1:00 PM Mario's Restaurant @ Drew Farm

2:00 PM Floral Arts @ Mustangs

3:00 PM PST @ Short Cut

As part of the festivities, the league will be sponsoring a bbq for all participants and their families.

Regular season play will open on Tuesday, May 5th with Drew Farms and the Mustangs facing off at 6:30, followed by defending champion Healy Oil hosting PST at 7:45.
