FEVER

To: All I hope everyone had a good time Saturday. I feel that we all learned form the games. I know it showed me where areas where we are strong and where we need some practice. We had a great turnout and all of the girls did great. Our “Older” Girls had “their game on” and our new girls did even better than expected. (Even better than some of the older girls did on the other teams.) We did great until we got tired and hungry. (FYI: That is why we called the games at 2 instead of 3. All 4 teams were complaining about being hungry and getting tired. Someone could have made a small mint if they would have had a concession stand. Time was also a factor. The First game on both fields took longer than expected.) This week the weather looks like it will be great for playing ball. No rain and temperatures in the 70s and 80s with low humidity. We should be able to have all three practices with out getting rained out or having to play on a muddy field. Tuesday we will have practice at Pecan Park at 6:00 pm. We will finish (restart) our “Parent vs. Kid” game so bring your gloves. This will give us a chance to A. Have some fun with our kids. B. Work on some of the issues we had at the scrimmages, in a game setting. Thursday we will have a regular practice at Pecan Park at 6:00pm. Saturday we will have a scrimmage with Diamond Magic. (The First team we played last Saturday). We will meet at 9:30am the game will be at 10:00 or just a little after. They hope to have all of their team’s players this time. I will let you know what uniform or not to wear. If we get all of the new uniforms in we need to take a group photo for the web page. I was promised that I would have the schedule for first three games this week. I will let you know when and where as soon as I know.
