Dear Force Parents, Please try to be at the practice this Sunday 3/25/07 as we need to talk together as a team on a few items. The first is the invitation we received from WLA Tournament, the second is adding a player for this tournament only and third is the possibility of ordering new uniforms to have before summer or the Jets Tournament. Remember practice is at Mariners from 5:00-6:30 p.m. it might run a little longer just so we can finish our team meeting. See you on Sunday, Mark

This past weekend was really great for the boys. On Saturday we spent the time to go over a real fastbreak that they started to get the hang of by the end of practice and spend some quality time on free throws and lay-ups. Sunday was spent on attacking the basket and some quality dribbling that we usually have no time to squeeze in at a regular practice. Thank you for coming out this weekend. There will be a small fee for Jason but we will calculate it the next months practice fees. This weekend we will practice on Sunday afternoon 3/25/07 at Mariners Christian from 5:00-6:30 p.m., we might run practice a little later but we will give everyone an advanced notice if we decide to do so. Dear Force Parents, If you happen to read this and have nothing to do we are going to have Reed and Jordy take some extra shooting practice tomorrow afternoon 3/17 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the SCCCC where we had the VFW Tournament last year. This is just for fun but if your son comes out we will work with him on shooting, footwork and passing. This is for Saturday 3/17/07, we have this opportunity because WPC had a few team cancel their practice so there were some open courts that could not be filled with any of their teams. Dear Force Parents, After a pretty tiring weekend and my voice needing to recover we have scheduled a private clinic for our Force team with Jason on Sunday 3/18/07 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Jason's facility in Huntington Beach. Let Jon or I know if you can or cannot make it on Sunday, I need to be sure that we have enough boys for him to work them out for an hour. I would like 6-8 boys to be there. Congratulations to the VFW Force 4th Grade 2007 Megalopolis Champions !!! The boys played extremely well over the weekend. This tournament had all three champions from their regular season leagues CYC, CBO and SEYO as well as all three second place teams as well. The last two games that we played were against the CYC co-champions Mustangs(9-1) and Bruins (9-1). We should be very proud of our boys. We do not know our schedule for this week but we are trying to set-up a clinic with Jason Wright this next weekend instead of practice. The boys need to get some extra work with their dribbling and attacking the basket. This would be a great week to do this. Have a great week, talk to you soon. Mark
