Dear Force Parents, Since this is Easter weekend we wanted to get some feedback from all the parents on your schedules. With no baseball scheduled for this weekend we can hold practice on Saturday or the other option is that Good Friday should be off days for all the boys we can do a Thursday night practice and not have anything for the weekend. We will be sending out an e-mail so please respond as soon as possible so we can arrange for the gym time. Thanks, Mark

Dear Force, Also, we need to make a decision on ordering new uniforms soon. We will need to get our artwork approved by the VFW Board and then it could take several weeks to get them done. We would like to have them for the Jets Tournament or even the Tigers Tournament if we get them done in the near future. The estimated costs would be $135 per player minus the $40 credit from the VFW organization. Let us know as soon as possible if you are for or against the new uniforms. Thanks, Mark

Dear Force Parents, In talking to some of you it would be more beneficial to move practice on Sunday from Lexington to Mariners. We have decided to still utilize Lexington on Sunday from 10:00-11:30 a.m., if you are close to the gym come join Coach Jon in working out some of your shooting or dribbling skills. We also would like to announce a new player for the WLA Tournament. His name is Ty Tanioka and he plays on an OCBC team. The parents will be there this week to watch Ty practice and offer him support. Please be sure that all of us are in attendance to give them a nice warm welcome. Mariners practice for this Friday is 6:30-8:30 p.m. and on Sunday 5:00-6:30 p.m. Please let Jon or I know if you cannot make either practice. Thanks, Mark

Dear Force Parents, We will be practicing this Friday 3/30/07 at Mariners from 6:30-8:30 p.m. At this practice we will know if we are entering the WLA Tournament and if there will be any additions to our roster. We also have VFW gym time for Sunday 4/1/07 at Lexington Middle School from 10:00-11:30 a.m., we will have more details before the end of the week on this. Dear Force Parents, We would like to thank everyone for coming out to tonights practice and to discuss a few team items. We are waiting for some information from the WLA Tournament but we might accept their offer in the near future. We will be entering the tournament with seven roster players, we will have Trevor on the roster too but he will be in Palm Springs that weekend with his AAU team. We will need to find at least one more player to play in this tournament only. We hope to find someone this week so they can come out and meet the families of our team. We also need to order our new uniforms soon as it will take a few weeks to go through the approval system with the VFW Board and then have them made before the Jets or Dodger Tournament. We will try to have the practice schedule in the next couple of days when we hear from Mariners. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact Jon or I by e-mail or by phone.
