Dear Force Parents,
As we have always said this is work in progress, each step of the way there
needs to be life lessons that we want the boys to learn to make them better
not only on the court but also off the court.
We explained to all the boys that there is no team that goes undefeated forever.
Every team loses a game but it's what they learn from it that makes them
better as individuals the next time they step on the court.
The boys played a great weekend tournament as they had great wins against the
Saber Bulldogs and also the FOR Vipers on Saturday. In the Championship Game
against the San Fernando Dragons we were flat and seemed out of our element.
As we were behind the boys seemed to stress and they started to make mistakes
that they normally do not make, we will look at this game and build on trying
to prevent it from happening in the FOR Tournament.
We will have practice on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Mariners and on Sunday
from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Please be sure that the boys get plenty of rest before each practice as they
will be playing plenty of defense, boxing out and running our offense, etc.
We want to thank Ty and the Tanioka family for playing in the WLA Tournament
we hope you had fun with us and sorry we didn't give you a Championship
trophy.
Let me know if you are not going to be at practice this week.
Have a great week,
Mark

Dear Force Parents,
Remember that our first game is at 11:00 a.m. and we would like the boys
at the gym by 10:15 a.m., please take into consideration the possible traffic
and distance to Paul Revere Middle School.
We will also be eating a light snack between games as the time between our
two games will be about an hour. Our first game should end around 12:00 p.m.
after a quick discussion they should be eating around 12:15 p.m., we will
start stretching them out at 1:30 p.m. for their second game starting at 2:00 p.m.
Also, the forecast has rain on Friday but clearing on Saturday and Sunday so
please be sure to bring an umbrella just in case we can't find any shelter at
the school.
Be sure the boys get plenty of rest on Friday night, they should all be in bed
no later than 9:00 p.m.
Remember sweatshirts and extra t-shirt, extra socks and water only.
Let me know if you have any questions, see you on Saturday
Mark
