Hi Force Families, This is it! We have our last two practices this weekend to prepare the boys for the Jet tournament. We will be practicing this Saturday from 8:45-11:00 at SCCCC and Sunday from 2:00-4:00 at Columbus Tustin. Please be at the gym by 8:45, shoes tied and ready to stretch. We'll scrimmage five on five at 9:00 to prepare the boys for next week's 1st Jet tournament game. We'll also run through all of our offensive and defensive sets. Last practice! On Sunday, we'll have our final five on five scrimmage. We'll go through all of our last minute game day preparations, game situations and we'll set our lineup. Please let us know if you can't make either practices. Thanks and see you on Saturday.

• Mark secured Columbus Tustin for our division
• We will have 3 divisions and 12 teams
• No more trophies.  Placement shirts will be handed out instead
• Try to solicit ads if you can.  Money goes into our Force fund for tournaments, practices...
• Will post sample ad forms on website under Handouts tab
• Deadline for ad's is August 27th.

Hi Force Families, This is a reminder that practice is at the SCCCC tomorrow morning at 9-11 with free throw shooting before practice. We have about one month left to reach our goal of 1,000 free throws before the Hollywood Dodgers Tournament in Las Vegas. Just an update from Des Moines, Iowa - Trevor's team took second in their pool with a win on Monday 47-45 and a win on Tuesday 41-36 but then had a lost on Wed. 33-42. This put them in the championship bracket but lost their first game on Thursday 21-38, They went to the consolation bracket where they won today 41-22. If they win both remaining games tomorrow and Sunday they can finish in seventh place. See you all tomorrow morning. Mark

Dear Force Families, As we enter into the month of July we find ourselves a little slim with gym times and locations. We will start this month with the schedule on the web which is a Saturday practice on 7/7, 7/14, 7/21 and Sunday 7/22. We are still looking for additional times at different locations, we will keep everyone informed as we find out. The Jets Tournament information is tentatively out. We will be in a four team Gold Division with Ikaika Warriors, Pasadena Gameboys and San Fernando Dragons. We were also informed that we will be playing in Temple City but no details were given out yet. Let me know if you will not be at any of the practices. Thanks, Mark

Dear Force Parents, We are continuing to improve each week during practice. We have so many things that we have to work on that it has been very productive so far this summer. The items that we are focusing on are free throws, dribbling, foot work speed, full court press break,full court press and endurance. We have not had a chance to work on defense yet but will be doing so in the near future. Here are the results of this weeks hard work that the boys put in this weekend. Jordan - 244/350 for 70% Christian - 137/240 for 57% Ty - 355/500 for 71% Shaq - 287/390 for 74% Sunny - 195/370 for 53% Reed - 368/420 for 88% Troy - 111/190 for 58% Brad - 228/350 for 65% Austin - 98/200 for 49% Trevor - 50/70 for 71% Team results - 2073/3080 for 67% These are terrific numbers, if we can get to 70% as a team then we will be in great shape for both the Jets and Dodgers Tournaments. Remember that each player must shoot a minimum of 1,000 free throws before the Dodgers Tournament. Don't forget that we moved this weeks practice schedule to Friday at Mariners and Saturday morning at the SCCCC. There is no Tuesday night practice due to most of the boys participating in Jason's camp on Monday through Wed. this week.
