Dear Force Parents,

Our boys played a good game today as we continued to work our zone offenses, we now use three to four different plays helping us against those teams that continue to play zone against us.

We are attempting to move our practice time later on Saturdays so that all of our players can make practice. Please keep your schedules open until we confirm, we hope it will be early in the week.

Remember though we do have VFW picture day this Saturday at Valencia HS, we will be moving our picture time if we change our practice time.

Dear Force Parents,

 We are the home team tomorrow so have the boys in their WHITE uniforms, bring the red one just in case. We will be playing on Court D1 which is to the far left as you walk into the Sports Center closest to the parking lot.

Remember, DO NOT PAY, just mention you are with SEYO as you enter the Sports Center.

Again, it should be raining so please plan for extra time so that you can be there at 4:30 p.m., we can settle the boys down and get them mentally into game ready shape.

Dear Force Parents,

Okay, we finally received the practice schedule for this Saturday 1/5/08. We are scheduled at 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Valencia in the Large Gym by ourselves.

Don't forget Jason's Force workout tomorrow night at 9:00 p.m. at his warehouse, then we have practice on Saturday and our game on Sunday 1/6/08 at American Sports Center at 5:00 p.m.

We also have been scheduled for our VFW Pictures next Saturday 1/12/08 at Valencia HS from 11:00-11:20 a.m. with practice to follow. We will need all the players to wear their RED uniform that day.

Dear Force Parents,

Welcome to 2008, hope we all made it through the holidays. We wanted to let the team know some important issues for this upcoming week.

We have Jason scheduled for our Friday night workout at his warehouse for all of those interested, we will confirm if it's starting at 8:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m. we should all try to get out there and brush away some rust in our conditioning from the holiday season.

We will also have VFW practice on Saturday 1/5/08 but the time has yet to be determined yet. Our game on Sunday 1/6/08 is at 5:00 p.m. but will be played at the American Sports Center in Anaheim. There will be another tournament at the same time so DO NOT PAY ADMISSION FEE to the Center. Please mention that you are with SEYO and they will not charge you. With the parking and location of the gym please try to arrive at the Center around 4:15 p.m., this way it will take you about 15 minutes to park and enter so we can meet at 4:30 p.m. as a team.  Below is the web site for free roof top parking. Do not park in unauthorized areas as your car will be towed, you can park for either $5 or $15 in certain parking lots but the roof is free.

Dear Force Parents,

The Tustin Knights All-Net team wanted to thank the Force for letting them scrimmage today with us at Columbus Tustin Gym. They thought we were a very good team and asked if they could possibly scrimmage us again in the future. They said by playing against us it will make them a better team as they go through their All-Net schedule. We think it was good for our team as well to play against taller teams as it will prepare us for our trip to Sacramento in a few months playing up in the 6th grade division.

Well next week will be a "new year" so we wanted to close the books on some accounting items for the past couple of months. As we mentioned earlier I will be taking over the collecting of gym fees from Jon and Wendy as they now have two teams to coordinate. They will still coordinate the tournament fees when we have them.

Here are the items that we want to double check:

Practice fees before SEYO season - $24 each (11/3 - $0, 11/4 -$80, 11/10 -$0, 11/11 -$80, 11/17 - $0, 11/18 - $80) Should have been paid to Jon and Wendy

Additional practice fees - $16 each (11/30 - $80, 12/30 - $88) Can be paid to Mark
