What an exciting end to the 2003 season. For the third year in a row, On Target and Pratleys met to determine league bragging rights. This year On-Target regained the crown by defeating Pratley's 12-11 and 5-4. In the first game, Nick McCleaf was the hero as his 8th inning RBI single secured the win for On-Target. In game two, Matt Weaver held the On-Target bats in check throughout the game, but he was countered with solid pitching and team defense on behalf of the On-Target team to keep the game close going into the last inning. Facing the loss, On-Target was down 4-2, but rallied home three runs to win the game. Nick McCleaf come through again, (lets call him Mr. Clutch)with a two out hit to plate the winning run, and secure the win for On-Target. Dan Hayduk was selected the series MVP for On-Target and Ryan Doyle recieved this honor for Pratleys.

The 13-15 YOA team finished this year's district tournament with a 2-2 record. Dropping a hard fought first round game to eventual champion Southampton/Indian Mills, we went on to win the next two, beating New Eygpt and Mt Holly, before being eliminated from the tournament by Tabernacle. The 14u team played hard but could not overcome a first round loss to New Eygpt and where then defeated by host Mt Holly.

Congratulations to all of our players for another fun packed and exiting season. The 2003 District 6 tournament will get underway soon. The 13-15 Division starts play June 29 against Southampton at New Egypt. (our game begins at 5:30). The 14u team will start district play July 4 at Mt Holly's Mill Dam Park, game time is scheduled for 1200 PM. This years 13-15 year old team members are: Jaron Benson, Ryan Doyle, John Earley, Dan Hayduk, Kyle Kramer, John Macey, Cleveland Matthews, Matt McKinney, Frank Pierce, John Rooney, Bobby Schreiner, Rory Shallis and Juan Telles. The 14u team members are: Sam Preziosa, Casey Kelly, Nic Hayduk, Matt Egli, Scott Morris, Scott Seibert, Jermey Swanson, Brandon Wood, Kyle Butler, Dan Egli, Ryan Noone, Nick McCleaf, Cody McNaughton, and Joe Schaefer.
