Final Score Game 12:  Indians 2, Orioles 18

Nick Stevens led off for the Indians against Kevin Andrada pitching for the Orioles with a line drive triple to right center.  With Jackson Tracy at bat Stevens was tagged out attempting to steal home, and the Tracy walked.  Tracy stole second on a pitch in the dirt and was held there when Micah Rothenbuhler singled on a bouncing grounder to third.  The runners were again unable to advance when Michael Copple flied out to left field, and were stranded when Isaac Maximov's ground ball to short was fielded and the force play made at second.

Rothenbuhler took the mound for the Indians in the bottom of the first against Charlie Carlise leading off for the Orioles.  Carlise took a base on balls and then scored on Andrada's long fly triple down the first base line.  Robert Hansen followed with a fly to center for a single that scored Andrada.  Raymond Coles' grounder to the pitcher extended into a triple as missed throws allowed him to advance and also score Hansen.  Perry Leong was thrown out at first but batted in Cole.  Max Rohde struck out and Stephen Giuntini followed him with a grounder to short for a single.  A mishandled pitch advanced Giuntini to second where he was stranded when Jacob Charney struck out to end the inning.  The score after one inning played was Indians zero, Orioles four.

Trevor Greenley led off for the Indians against Andrada continuing to pitch for the Orioles.  Greenley took a base on balls and then stole second on a wild pitch to Derek Snediker.  The Orioles elected to change pitchers and brought in Perry Leong.  Snediker struck out swinging, and Greenley advanced to third when Wyatt Arens grounded back to the mound and was thrown out at first.  Evan Park walked to give the Indians runners on first and third.  Billy Hommert came to the plate and Park stole second, and then a wild pitch allowed Park to advance to third and Greenley to score.  Hommert took a base on balls and the Indians again had runners on first and third.  Hommert stole second with Casey Thiering batting and the bases were loaded when Thiering walked.  Liam Bergstrom struck out and the Indians were retired scoring but one run.

Nick Ratto led off the second for the Orioles and Micah Rothenbuhler took the mound for the Indians.  Ratto walked, and then was forced out at second when John Dietrich grounded to the short stop, Snediker, for a single.  Boyan Tzvetkov followed with a grounder to third that escaped into the outfield.  Carlise grounded to Maximov at second and was thrown out at first when the play was made to Park.  The Orioles were held scoreless when Andrada flied to second and Maximov made the catch.

Leong continued pitching for the Orioles in the third, facing the top of the Indians batting order.  Stevens struck out swinging and Tracy was called out on strikes for two away.  Rothenbuhler hit a hard grounder down the third base line for a double, and Copple brought him home with a long fly triple to left field.  Copple was stranded on third when Maximov was called out on strikes, and the Indians were again held to a single run.

Rothenbuhler pitched the third inning for the Indians with Hansen leading off for the Orioles.  Hansen took first when he was hit by a pitch and then stole second with Cole at the plate.  Cole's bouncing grounder to second held up for a single and advanced Hansen to third.  Leong's grounder to third scored Hansen and was good for a single.  Leong stole second and was held there and Cole at third when Rohde flied to Greenley at third and the catch was made for one away.  Giuntini scored both runners with a ground ball single to second, then advanced to second as the Indians attempted a play at the plate on Leong.  Charney flied to center for a double advancing Giuntini to third.  A passed pitch to Ratto allowed Giuntini to steal home, and then a missed throw to first allowed Ratto to stretch his grounder to short into a double, scoring Charney.  Dietrich grounded back to the mound, but the ball was mishandled and Dietrich made second base and Ratto scored as the pick-off throw went awry.  Tzvetkov grounded through the gap to center for a single and advanced Dietrich to third.  Carlise popped up to the pitcher and Rothenbuhler made the catch for two away.  Tzvetkov stole second before Andrada walked to load the bases.  Hansen made his second appearance at the plate in the inning and his grounder to short scored and he beat the throw to first for a single, scoring Dietrich and Tzvetkov.  Cole grounded to Tracy at second and was thrown out at first, and the Orioles were retired after batting through their roster and scoring eight runs for a ten run lead over the Indians.

The Indians went three up and three down in the fourth as the Orioles brought good fielding against the Indians offense.  Leong continued as pitcher for the Orioles and Greenley led off for the Indians with a grounder to second but he was thrown out at first.  Snediker flied out to first and Arens followed with a grounder to first for the force out.  The score remained twelve to two, Orioles.

The Orioles added to their lead in the bottom of the fourth.  Michael Copple came in to pitch for the Indians.  Leong led off for the Orioles, singling on a grounder through the gap to left field.  Rohde struck out, but not before Leong stole second.  Giuntini doubled on a fly to center, scoring Leong, and then stole third before Charney flied to right field for an in the park home run.  Ratto flied to right field bringing up Dietrich, who struck out for two away.  Tzvetkov grounded past the short stop for a single and advanced Ratto to second.  Carlise followed with a line drive to center to load the bases.  Andrada flied to deep right, scoring the men on base, but was tagged out by Maximov at the plate.

The Indians were again retired three up three down in the fifth inning.  Park struck out swinging, and Hommert flied out to second.  Thiering was called out on strikes and the Indians went into the bottom of the fifth trailing by sixteen runs.

Arens pitched the fifth inning for the Indians.  Hansen led off for the Orioles and struck out swinging.  Cole popped up to first and Copple made the catch for two away.  Leong took a base on balls, but was stranded when Rohde grounded back to Arens and he connected with Copple for the force out at first.  The score remained eighteen to two after five innings played.

The Indians tried to rally in the sixth but were denied.  Tzvetkov came in to pitch for the Orioles, striking out Bergstrom.  Stevens hit a grounder back to the mound, but beat the throw to first to give the Indians a base runner.  Tracy took his turn at bat, and Stevens was tagged out trying to steal second before Tracy walked when he was hit by a pitch.  Tracy was able to steal second with Rothenbuhler at the plate, but was held at second when Rothenbuhler hit a short bouncer down the third base line.  Copple followed, but any hope of a rally was extinguished when his pop fly to third was dropped but Tracy was out on the force play as Rothenbuhler moved to second.  The final score was Orioles eighteen, Indians two.
