Hey Farm Teams,

Icon Pros will be taking action photos of the Farm Division this Sunday. Photos will be sold between the backstops.

This weekend Alameda Little League supported the District 4 Challenger Jamboree.  Alameda Little League donated $1000 to the District 4 Challenger Jamboree, and was also there in FULL FORCE with 5 umpires, more than any other League in the District! It was a great all day event at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek in which 14 different Leagues participated in a Jamboree for special needs kids in their communities. Alameda is forming its own Challenger program and this is the first year we have been fortunate enough to join in the great fun!

The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide. Today, more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide. To learn more about the Challenger Division press on the headline. You will be directed to the Little League Challenger Division website.
