 In the Sophomore Shot Put, Northside Sophomore Jacob Cosby finished in fourth place overall with an outstanding throw of 37'05. Cosby scored four points for the Northside Chicago Mustangs in Shot Put!

 In the 100m Dash Prelims, Jacob Cosby finished 13th place with an outstanding time of 12.57.

 In the 200m Dash Prelims, Jacob Cosby finishes in 12th place with a PERSONAL RECORD of 25.73.

In the Sophomore 110m Hurdles Prelims, Northside Sophomore Christian Guerrero dropped 0.71 of a second (23.01) for a PERSONAL BEST time of 22.30. Guerrero also ran impressive splits in the 4x100m and 4x200m Relays.

In the Sophomore 300m Hurdles Finals, Northside Sophomore Christian Guerrero ran a personal best time of 56.23.

In the Sophomore 100m Dash Prelims, Northside Freshman Nick Brown ran an outstanding time of 12.71.

 In the Sophomore 200m Dash Prelims, Northside Freshman Carel Jones ran an outstanding time of 26.63.

 Prior to Saturday, George McCoy had a 1600m personal record of 6:13.74, and a 3200m personal record of 13:16.96. George McCoy smashed both personal records in the SAME 3200m race! A DOUBLE PR!

 In the Sophomore 3200m run, Northside Freshman George McCoy ran the first 1600m in a PERSONAL RECORD of 6:09.00, and then ran the final mile in 7:02 for a 3200m PERSONAL RECORD of 13:11.94. George McCoy dropped 4 seconds (6:13.74) off his 1600m personal record with a 1600m split of 6:09.00. George McCoy also dropped 5 seconds (13:16.96) off his 3200m personal record with an official time of 13:11.94. George McCoy ran TWO PRS in the SAME race!!

 In the Sophomore 4x800m Relay, Northside Freshman Kyle Lowenthal ran an impressive 2:25.92 800m split on the first leg of the 4x800m Relay. Kyle Lowenthal ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 78 seconds for a 2:25.92 800m split on the first leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Jakob Lemke ran a personal best 2:28.01 800m split on the second leg of the 4x800m Relay. Jakob Lemke ran the first 400m in 72 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 76 seconds for a 2:28.01 800m split on the second leg of the relay. Northside Freshman Mason Sotomayor ran the first 400m in 77 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 85 seconds for an outstanding 800m split of 2:42.16 on the third leg of the relay. Northside Freshman George McCoy anchored the 4x800m Relay to eighth place overall with a 3:05.91 800m split for an official time of 10:42.00. George McCoy saved the TEAM by running in the 4x800m Relay right after the 3200m run. George McCoy was an emergency replacement for Sophomore Vladimir Andrade, who did not show up to the meet. Without the heroics of George McCoy, Northside would have not been able to compete in the Sophomore 4x800m Relay, and three athletes would have not been able to race on Saturday. imageimageimage
 In the Sophomore 4x100m Relay, Northside Freshman Nick Brown ran an outstanding 12.76 100m split on the first leg of the relay. Northside Freshman Carel Jones ran an outstanding 12.88 100m split on the second leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Christian Guerrero ran an impressive 12.86 100m split on the third leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Jakob Lemke anchored Northside to SEVENTH place overall with an impressive 12.84 100m split for an official time of 51.64. imageimageimage
