Tom Frejowski wins his heat and finishes in 4th place overall in the 400m Dash! 52.38! Danny Rosen finishes in SECOND place in the 1600m run! 4:34.76!
In the Varsity 400m dash, Northside Senior Tom Frejowski won his heat, and finished in fourth place overall with a season best time of 52.38. Tom Frejowski was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fourth place overall.
In the Varsity 1600m run, Huntley Seth Conroy won it with an official time of 4:28.96. Northside Junior Danny Rosen ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 72 seconds (2:19 800m split), and then ran the next 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 69 seconds (3:28 1200m split), and then ran the final 400m in another NEGATIVE split of 66 seconds to finish in SECOND place with a season best time of 4:34.76. Yorkville Trevor Willis finished in third place with an official time of 4:37.87. Huntley Mike Grocholski finished fourth place with an official time of 4:38.66. Plainfield East Joe Suarez finished in fifth place with an official time of 4:38.99. Antioch Zach Besson finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 4:42.02. Danny Rosen was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall in the 1600m run.

In the Varsity 4x400m Relay, Plainfield East won it with an official time of 3:26.00. Huntley finished in second place with an official time of 3:29.93. Antioch finished in third place with an official time of 3:33.24. Prosser finished in fourth place with an official time of 3:37.62. Northside finished in fifth place with an outstanding time of 3:38.46. Northside Senior Malcolm Grba ran the first leg of the 4x400m relay with an impressive 53.67 400m split, and made a nice exchange to Danny Rosen. Northside Junior Danny Rosen ran the second leg of the 4x400m Relay with an outstanding 55.57 400m split, and made a good exchange to Philip Wdowiak. Northside Junior Philip Wdowiak ran an impressive 54.34 400m split, and made a nice exchange to Tom Frejowski. Northside Senior Tom Frejowski anchored Northside to FIFTH place with a 54.24 400m split for an official time of 3:38.46. Malcolm Grba, Danny Rosen, Philip Wdowiak, and Tom Frejowski were awarded MEDALS for finishing in fifth place overall. Harlem finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 3:43.57. The Yorkville 4x400m Relay featured Jake Hoffert, Luke Hoffert, Cody Hornyak, and Trevor Wills, and finished in seventh place with an official time of 3:48.79. Fenwick finished in eighth place with an official time of 3:54.54.
