The Northside School Record for the Discus Relay is 335'06, and is held by Henry Lothschutz, Malcolm Grba, Ari Perlmutter, and Philip Wdowiak (2014 Spartan Relays).
In the Discus, Northside Senior Malcolm Grba threw an outstanding 92'0. Northside Junior Philip Wdowiak threw an outstanding 77'3. Northside Junior Gabriel Krell threw the Discus a distance of 63'5.5. Northside Junior Simon Lothschutz threw the Discus a distance of 62'6.
Northside edged Waukegan (294'11) in the Discus Relay with a score of 295'05.
Jacob Cosby, Tom Frejowski, Jordan Lozinski, and Simon Lothschutz throw Shot Put 121'00 at Spartan Relays!
Matt Osborne, Porter Abbey, Garret Barch, and Keith Jones jump 146'10 in the Triple Jump Relay!
The School Record for the Triple Jump Relay is 152'02.50, and it is held by Lucien Fitzpatrick, Matt Osborne, Porter Abbey, and Jay Yu (2014 Spartan Relays).
In the Triple Jump Relay, Matt Osborne jumped an outstanding 39'3.5. Porter Abbey jumped an outstanding 37'6.25. Garret Barch jumped an outstanding 36'4.75. Keith Jones jumped a distance of 33'8. Northside finished in seventh place with a score of 146'10, and posted victories over: 8. Lake Forest (145'07.75), 9. Loyola (143'09.25), 10. Glenbrook South (143'06.00), and 11. Highland Park (99'05.00).
In the Long Jump Relay, Porter Abbey jumped an outstanding 18'2. Matt Osborne jumped a PERSONAL BEST 17'11. Keith Jones jumped an outstanding 16'11.75. Garret Barch jumped an outstanding 16'82. Northside finished in eighth place with a score of 69'09, and posted victories over: 9. Glenbrook South (69'05), 10. Loyola (66'05.75), and 11. Highland Park (64'02).
Northside edges Lake Forest in the 4x800m Relay at Spartan Relays! Max McCoy runs personal best 4x800m split of 2:08.45 on the first leg of the relay!
In the 4x800m Relay, Northside edged Lake Forest (9:17.40) with an official time of 9:04.50. Northside Senior Max McCoy had a BIG day! Max McCoy ran the first 400m in 60 SECONDS, and then ran the next 400m in 68.45 seconds for a PERSONAL BEST 800m split of 2:08.45, and made a nice exchange to Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman. Max McCoy passed Alumni legend Joseph Terdik, Brandon Cooper, and Danny Garcia for the 14th fastest 800m time in Northside history! Max McCoy is now on the Northside All Time list in the 1600m, 3200m, and the 800m!
Northside Senior Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman is an incredible athlete, and has competed in every relay for the Chicago Northside Mustangs during his high school athletic career, including the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m Relays. Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman is also one of the Mustangs top sprinters in the 100m and 200m dash. Gabriel Jiminez-Ekman helped put the Mustangs distance squad over the top at Spartan Relays. Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman ran the first 400m in 66 SECONDS, and then ran the final 400m in 74 SECONDS for a PERSONAL BEST 800m split of 2:20.69, and made a nice exchange to Brendan Powers.
