 In 2015, Northside Sophomore Kyle Friedler WON the Varsity Indoor City Title in the 3200m run, and WON the Varsity 3200m run at the Lake Forest Academy Classic. Kyle Friedler also WON the Sophomore 1600m run at Evanston High School. Friedler also finished second in the Varsity 1600m run at the Glenbrook North Indoor Classic, and second in the Sophomore 1600m run at Niles West Indoor Classic, and the Mike VanDeever Invitational. Kyle Friedler also ran the fastest Sophomore 3200m run time (10:08.02) in Northside history! Kyle Friedler also helped Northside WIN the 4x800m Relay at the Eric Nelson Classic, Geneva High School, and Evanston High School. Kyle Friedler also helped Northside break the school record at the Spartan Relays in the 4x1600m Relay with an impressive 1600m split of 4:42.17!

 From Freshman Year (10:48) to Sophomore Year (10:08), Kyle Friedler dropped 40 seconds in the 3200m run.

 From Freshman Year (5:17) to Sophomore Year (4:42), Kyle Friedler dropped 35 seconds in the 1600m run.

 From Freshman Year (2:27) to Sophomore Year (2:13), Kyle Friedler dropped 14 seconds in the 800m run.

 In 2015, Northside Sophomore Alex Ortiz anchored Northside to the Varsity Indoor City Tile in the 4x800m Relay, and WON the Varsity 1600m run at the Lake Forest Academy Classic. Alex Ortiz also WON the Sophomore 1600m run at the Niles West Paul Gans Invitational and the Mike VanDeever Invitational. Alex Ortiz also finished second in the Varsity 3200m run (10:17.58) at the Glenbrook North Spartan Classic. Alex Ortiz also ran an 800m personal best time of 2:05.25 to WIN the Joe Terdik Last Chance Meet. Alex Ortiz also helped Northside WIN the 4x800m Relay at Geneva High School, and anchored the Northside 4x800m Relay to Victory at Evanston High School. Alex Ortiz also anchored Northside to a school record at the Spartan Relays in the 4x1600m Relay with an impressive 1600m split of 4:46.60.

 From Freshman Year (11:56) to Sophomore Year (10:17), Alex Ortiz dropped 1 minute and 39 seconds in the 3200m run.

 From Freshman Year (5:39) to Sophomore Year (4:46), Alex Ortiz dropped 53 seconds in the 1600m run.

 From Freshman Year (2:16) to Sophomore Year (2:05), Alex Ortiz dropped 11 seconds in the 800m run.
