On Saturday, February 11, 2017, the Northside Varsity Men traveled to Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois for the Wildkits Indoor Classic.

Evanston High School features an Orange and Blue MONDO surface 160m indoor Track. Athletes were permitted to use 1/4 pyramid spikes.

The Wildkits Indoor Classic featured seven outstanding teams, including: Waukegan, Morgan Park, Schaumburg, Chicago Northside, New Trier, Garcia, and host Evanston.

The large size of the Teams made the Track Meet more fun in every event. New Trier High School arrived with five buses of athletes, and entered a record 210 athletes in the meet.

The meet had non-stop action, and in addition to all of the traditional Track events, Evanston had several special relays at the end of meet, including an Indoor Middle Distance Medley Relay (400m-160m-160m-800m).
