Prior to 2011, only three Northside Track & Field athletes (Eric Nelson (2008, 2009), Cuitlahuac Pineda Youniss (2009), and Wesley Laytham (2010), have ever scored 100 points in a season.

For the first time in the history of Northside College Prep, four athletes could reach the century mark in Varsity points scored in the SAME season!!

Northside Junior Josh Williams (153.75 points), and Northside Junior Mac Melto (116.25 points) have already reached the century mark this season.

Northside Senior Wesley Laytham is sitting on 99 points, and Northside Sophomore Nathaniel Agharese is sitting on 97 points.

Northside will have four to five athletes with over 100 Varsity points scored in a season!!

This is even more remarkable when you consider the fact that the Mustangs have competed in less meets this year. Early season meets were canceled because of a blizzard.

The Northside College Prep Varsity Men are currently preparing for the Spartan Relays.

Spartan Relays is the most competive relay meet in Illinois. Northside could potentially see their 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m, and Middle Distance Medlay Relay School records ALL fall in the same meet!

Every event in the meet is a Relay, including High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, and Discus!
