Nathaniel Agharese places SECOND in the 400m! Tom Frejowski places fourth in the 400m run! Danny Rosen places sixth in the 800m run!

 In the 55m Dash, Northside Sophomore Michael Walt dropped 0.12 of a second (7.87) with a personal best time of 7.70. Northside Sophomore Gabriel Jimenez-Ekhman ran a personal best time of 7.72. Northside Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen ran a personal best time of 7.74. Northside Freshman Jack Svoboda dropped 0.09 of a second (7.93) for a personal best time of 7.84.

 In the 800m run, Northside Freshman Danny Rosen placed sixth overall with an official time of 2:19.80. Danny Rosen ran 200m splits of 31, 37 (68 400m), 36, and then ran the final 200m in a NEGATIVE split of 35 seconds for an outstanding time of 2:19.80. Northside Senior Calvin Gang placed tenth overall with an official time of 2:22.90. Calvin Gang ran 200m splits of 33, 36 (69 400m), 36, and then ran the final 200m in 37 seconds for an outstanding time of 2:22.90. Northside Freshman Matthew Gomez placed 13th overall with an official time of 2:26.81. Matthew Gomez ran 200m splits of 35, 36 (71 400m), 39, and then ran a NEGATIVE split of 36 for an outstanding time of 2:26.81. Northside Junior Robert Szmurlo ran the first 400m in 69 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 79 seconds for an official time of 2:28.75. Northside Freshman Max Guthmann ran the first 400m in 71 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 81 seconds for a PERSONAL BEST time of 2:32.74. Northside Sophomore Connor Fulton ran the first 400m in 71 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 82 seconds for an outstanding time of 2:33.80. Northside Freshman Xavier Sigelko ran the first 400m in 76 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 81 seconds for a PERSONAL BEST time of 2:37.33. Northside Freshman Alejandro Linan ran the first 400m in 80 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 93 seconds for a personal best time of 2:53.73.

 In the 400m run, Northside Senior Nathaniel Agharese finished in second place with an outstanding time of 53.56. Northside Sophomore Tom Frejowski finished in fourth place with an official time of 57.13. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in sixth place with an official time of 58.72. Northside Sophomore Max McCoy finished in ninth place with a personal best time of 59.50. Northside scored 16 points in the 400m run!!!

 In the 1600m run, Chicago Hope Academy Senior Luke Muzikowski won it with an official time of 4:41.44. Prospect Junior Max Daleiden finished in second place with an official time of 4:44.91. Northside Senior Patrick Brennan ran the first 400m in 66 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 73 seconds (2:19 800m), and then ran the next 400m in 77 seconds (3:36 1200m), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 70 seconds to finish in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 4:46.95. Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba ran the first 400m in 69 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 75 seconds (2:24 800m), and then ran the next 400m in 77 seconds (3:41 1200m), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 71 seconds, and outkicked University High's Jacob Meyer (4:53.20) and Lincoln Park's Michael Stubna (4:54.72) to finish in fourth place with an outstanding time of 4:52.35. Northside Junior Simon Kafka ran the first 400m in 70 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 77 seconds (2:27 800m), and then ran the next 400m in an EVEN split of 77 seconds (3:44 1200m), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 70 seconds to finish in seventh place with an outstanding time of 4:54.92. Northside Sophomore Jack O'Donnell ran the first 800m in 2:42, and then ran the final 800m in 2:44 for a personal best time of 5:27.20. Northside Freshman Geir Falck-Pedersen ran the first 800m in 2:48, and then ran the final 800m in 3:08 for a personal best time of 5:56.88. Northside scored 13 points in the 1600m run!!

Northside 4x400m Relay finishes in SECOND place with a 3:50.09!!

 In the 4x400m "A" Relay, Northside finished in SECOND place with an official time of 3:50.09. Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba ran the first leg of the relay with a 57.50 400m split, and made a perfect exchange to Sophomore Porter Abbey. Porter Abbey ran the second leg of the relay with a 58.79 400m split, and made a nice exchange to Junior Simon Kafka. Simon Kafka ran the third leg of the relay with a 56.94 400m split, and made a perfect exchange to Senior Patrick Brennan. Patrick Brennan anchored the Mustangs to SECOND place with a 56.35 400m split for an official time of 3:50.09. Evergreen Park finished in third place with an official time of 3:53.63. Lincoln Park finished in fourth place with an official time of 4:05.59. University High finished in fifth place with an official time of 4:05.78.
 
 In the 4x400m "B" Relay, Northside Freshman Matthew Gomez ran the first leg of the relay with a personal best 400m split of 60.00, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Max Guthmann. Max Guthmann ran the second leg of the relay with a personal best 400m split of 68.75, and made a good exchange to Freshman Gabe Stacey. Gabe Stacey ran the third leg of the relay with a personal best 400m split of 68.81, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Danny Rosen. Danny Rosen anchored the Mustangs to seventh overall, with a personal best 400m split of 58.94 for an official time of 4:17.52.
 
 The Northside Varsity and Sophomore-Freshman Teams will travel to Bensenville, Illinois on March 6, 2013 for the Bison Indoor Classic.
