In the Shot Put, Lake Park's Prestigiacomo won it with a throw of 50'7. Lake Park's Scheirich finished in second place with a throw of 40'4. Northside Sophomore Ari Perlmutter finished in THIRD place with an outstanding throw of 38'0. Perlmutter was awarded a plaque for finishing in third place. Buffalo Grove's McKinney finished in fourth place with a throw of 37'1. West Chicago's Mendez finished in fifth place with a throw of 36'6. Fenton's Wassmann finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with a throw of 31'5.5. Northside Sophomore Tom Frejowski threw a personal best 30'6.

In the Long Jump, Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in fourth place with a personal best jump of 18'1. Porter Abbey was awarded a plaqye for finishing in fourth place. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an outstanding jump of 17'4.

In the High Jump, St.Joseph's Johnson won it with a jump of 5'8. Lake Park's Filip finished in second place with a leap of 5'6. Northside Sophomore Ari Perlmutter finished in THIRD place with a season best jump of 5'6. West Chicago's Kubik finished in fourth place with a jump of 5'6. Lake Park's Bennet finished in fifth place with a jump of 5'2. Northside Sophomore Alejandro Ballesteros made three outstanding attempts at the opening height of 4'6.

In the Triple Jump, Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in SECOND place with a personal best jump of 36'7. Porter Abbey was awarded a plaque for finishing in second place. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in fourth place with a personal best jump of 35'11. Matt Osbrone was awarded a plaque for finishing in fourth place.

In the Pole Vault, Northside Sophomore Declan Galleher vaulted a personal best 5'0, and then made three outstanding attempts at 5'6. Declan Galleher was awarded a plaque for finishing in fourth place.

In the 4x880 Yards Relay, Fenton won it with a 9:24.10. Northside Freshman Danny Rosen ran the first leg of the relay in a 2:18.33 880 yards split, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Matthew Gomez. Matthew Gomez ran a 2:27.49 880 yards split, and made a great exchange to Sophomore Adrian Black. Adrian Black ran a 2:24.89 880 yards split, and made a perfect exchange to Sophomore Malcolm Grba. Northside was in fourth place when Grba received the baton. Malcolm Grba passed Lake Park, and Buffalo Grove, and anchored the Mustangs to SECOND place with a 2:15.80 880 yards split for an official time of 9:26.50. Buffalo Grove finished in third place with a 9:32.80.  Lake Park finished in fourth place with a 9:37.30. Walter Payton finished in fifth place with a 10:05.50. West Chicago finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with a 10:52.60. In the 4x135 Yards Relay, Fenton won it with a 1:04.80. Buffalo Grove finished in second place with a 1:05.60. Lake Park finished in third place with a 1:07.0. Northside finished in fourth place with a 1:07.40. Northside Sophomore Michael Walt ran a 17.44 135 yards split on the first leg of the relay, and made an excellent exchange to Sophomore Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman. Sophomore Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman ran an impressive 16.77 135 yards split on the second leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Jack Svoboda. Jack Svoboda ran a personal best 16.04 135 yards split on the third leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Keith Jones. Keith Jones ran a 17.15 135 yards split, and anchored the Mustangs to fourth place with an official time of 1:07.40. Michael Walt, Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman, Jack Svoboda, and Keith Jones were awarded plaques for finishing in fourth place overall. Walter Payton finished in fifth place with an official time of 1:08.50. West Chicago finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 1:09.00.

 In the Two Miles run, Buffalo Grove's Cleary won it with an official time of 10:57.50. Buffalo Grove's Schmidt finished in second place with an official time of 10:58.50. Fenton's Rodriguez finished in third place with an official time of 11:10.20. Fenton's Brown finished in fourth place with an official time of 11:15.10. West Chicago Stibal finished in fifth place with an official time of 11:40.70. Northside Sophomore Jack O'Donnell ran the first mile in 5:45, and then ran the final mile in 6:16 to finish in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 12:01.90. Northside Freshman Gabe Stacey ran the first mile in 5:44, and then ran the final mile in 6:48 to finish in seventh place with an official time of 12:32.00.

 In the 50 Yards High Hurdles, Lake Park's Shenault won it with an official time of 7.0. Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in SECOND place with a personal best time of 7.90. Porter Abbey dropped 0.60 of a second (8.50) off his best high hurdles time. Porter Abbey was awarded a Plaque for finishing in second place. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in THIRD place with a personal best time of 8.30. Matt Osborne dropped 0.20 of a second (8.50) off his best high hurdles time. Matt Osborne was awarded a Plaque for finishing in third place. Buffalo Grove's Curran finished in fourth place with a 8.40. Buffalo Grove's Beck finished in fifth place with a 8.50. Walter Payton's Simenthal finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 9.20.

 In the 50 Yards Dash, Northside Sophomore Michael Walt ran an outstanding time of 6.30 in the prelims. Northside Freshman Steven Kataba ran an outstanding time of 6.20 to qualify for the Finals. In the Finals, Steven Kataba pulled his left hamstring, and finished in sixth place with an official time of 7.00.

 In the Jim Nichols 880 Yards run, Fenton's Nava won it with an official time of 2:13.50. Buffalo Grove's Wallner finished in second place with an official time of 2:15.90. Lake Park's Schwarz finished in third place with an official time of 2:16.50. Northside Sophomore Max McCoy ran the first 70 yards in 10 seconds, and then ran 135 Yards splits of 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, and then ran a NEGATIVE split of 21 seconds to finish in fourth place with an official time of 2:24.71. Max McCoy was awarded a plaque for finishing in fourth place. Buffalo Grove's Nimmerfoh finished in fifth place with an official time of 2:28.90. Walter Payton's Rojas finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 2:32.60. Northside Freshman Geir Falck-Pedersen ran an outstanding  time of 2:41.32. Geir Falck-Pedersen ran the first 70 yards in 12 seconds, and then ran 135 Yards splits of 25, 24, 24, 25, 25, and 26 for an official time of 2:41.32.

 In the Open 880 Yards run, Northside Sophomore Connor Fulton WON it with an official time of 2:39.31.

  In the 4x270 Yards Relay, Buffalo Grove won it with an official time of 2:20.60. Lake Park finished in second place with an official time of 2:21.00. Walter Payton finished in third place with an official time of 2:23.30. Northside finished in fourth place with an official time of 2:28.30. Northside Sophomore Michael Walt ran the first leg of the relay in 36.03 270 Yards split, and made the exchange to Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen. Calvin Kuhnen ran a 37.32 270 Yards split, and made the exchange to Freshman Xavier Sigelko. Xavier Sigelko ran a 40.41 270 Yards split, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Jack Svoboda. Jack Svoboda ran a 34.26 270 Yards split to anchor the Mustangs to fourth place with an official time of 2:28.30. Michael Walt, Calvin Kuhnen, Xavier Sigelko, and Jack Svoboda were awarded Plaques for finishing in fourth place. West Chicago finished in fifth place with an official time of 2:34.60. Fenton finished in sixth place to complete the scoring.

 In the 440 Yards Dash, Lake Park's Armas won it with an official time of 61.70. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in SECOND place with an official time of 62.40. Buffalo Grove's Pietka finished in third place with an official time of 63.10. Fenton's Eckler finished in fourth place with an official time of 63.20. Buffalo Grove's Ortiz finished in fifth place with an official time of 66.40. Walter Payton's Barton finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 67.90.

 In the 50 Yards Low Hurdles, Lake Park's Shenault broke the meet record, and stadium record with an official time of 6.50. Buffalo Grove's Curran finished in second place with an official time of 7.70. Buffalo Grove's Beck finished in third place with an official time of 8.20. Walter Payton's Simenthal finished in fourth place with an official time of 8.80. Northside Freshman Justin Washington finished in fifth place with a personal best time of 9.05. Justin Washington was awarded a plaque for finishing for finishing in fifth place. Northside Sophomore Alejandro Ballesteros finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with a personal best time of 9.10.

 In the Art Simers Mile, Buffalo Grove's Salvano won it with an official time of 4:57.40. Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba finished in SECOND place with an outstanding time of 4:57.70. Malcolm Grba was awarded a Plaque for finishing in second overall. Buffalo Grove's Wenzel finished in third place with an official time of 5:02.40. Lake Park's Schwarz finished in fourth place with an official time of 5:05.0. Northside Sophomore Adrian Black finished in fifth place with an official time of 5:07.70. Adrian Black was awarded a Plaque for finishing in fifth overall. Fenton's Brown finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 5:10.90.

 In the Open Mile, Northside Freshman Sarrin Chethik WON it with a personal best time of 5:55.20. Fenton's Antonio Aguilera finished in second place with an outstanding time of 6:18.64.

 In the Emil Ostberg 220 Yards Dash, St.Joseph's Johnson won it with an official time of 25.50. Lake Park's Basso finished in second place with an official time of 25.60. Lake Park's Shenault and Fenton's Casey tied for third place with an official time of 25.70. West Chicago's Kulikowski finished in fifth place with an official time of 26.70. Buffalo Grove's Johnson finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 26.90. Northside Freshman Keith Jones ran an official time of 28.80. Freshman Steven Kataba scratched from the event. 

 In the 4x405 Relay, Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey ran a 55.39 405 Yards split on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Freshman Danny Rosen. Danny Rosen ran a 57.94 405 Yards split on the second leg of the relay, and made a perfect exchange to Sophomore Max McCoy. Max McCoy ran a 58.30 405 Yards split, and made a nice exchange to Sophomore Malcolm Grba. Malcolm Grba anchored the Mustangs to fourth place with a 56.43 405 Yards split for an official time of 3:48.30. Porter Abbey, Danny Rosen, Max McCoy, and Malcolm Grba were awarded plaques for finishing in fourth place.

 The Northside Varsity will compete in the Indoor City Championships on Sunday, March 24, 2013. A Team / Parents Pasta Party will take place with 2012 London Olympian Sam Vazquez in the Northside Cafeteria on Monday, March 25, 2013. The Northside Varsity Team and Sophomore Team will compete in the Eric Nelson Track & Field Classic on Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
