Northside 4x800m Relay finishes SECOND at the Eric Nelson Track & Field Classic!
In the Dan Graham-Patrick Brennan-Pat Duffy-Ezra Edgerton 4x800m Relay, Taft won it with an official time of 9:12.15. The Taft 4x800m Relay was awarded Plaques for winning the Dan Graham-Patrick Brennan-Pat Duffy-Ezra Edgerton 4x800m Relay. Northside finished in SECOND place with an official time of 9:27.11. Northside Sophomore Adrian Black ran an 800m split of 2:24.93 on the first leg of the relay. Northside Freshman Matthew Gomez ran an 800m split of 2:20.88 on the second leg of the relay. Northside Senior Calvin Gang ran an 800m split of 2:19.75 on the third leg of the relay. Northside Senior Raymond Siddiqi anchored the Mustangs to SECOND place with a 2:21.13 800m split for an official time of 9:27.11. Adrian Black, Matthew Gomez, Calvin Gang, and Raymond Siddiqi were awarded MEDALS for finishing in SECOND place overall. Chicago Leo finished in third place with an official time of 9:43.38. Von Stuben finished in fourth place with an official time of 10:20.28. Solorio Academy finished in fifth place with an official time of 10:20.70.
After the 4x800m Relay, Chicago Leo led the meet with 111 points. Northside was in second with 95 points. Von Stuben was in third place with 38 points. Taft was in fourth place with 27 points. Solorio Academy was in fifth place with 23 points. Henry Ford Powerhouse was in sixth place with 12 points. Kelvyn Park was in seventh place with 3 points.
Porter Abbey, Matt Osborne, and Steffan Roeseller finish 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the 110m Hurdles!! Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman leads Northside in 100m Dash!
In the 110m High Hurdles, Chicago Leo Joshua Wright won it with an official time of 17.47. Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in SECOND place with an official time of 18.91. Porter Abbey was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall. Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in THIRD place overall with an official time of 19.51. Matt Osborne was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Northside Junior Steffan Roeseller finished in fourth place with an outstanding time of 21.43. Steffan Roeseller was awarded a RIBBON for finishing in fourth place overall.
In the 100m Dash, Kelvyn Park Senior Jamal McNeeley won it with an official time of 11.27. Chicago Leo McClendon finished in second place with an official time of 11.79. Henry Ford Powerhouse Burns finished in third place with an official time of 11.91. Solorio Academy Jefferson finished in fourth place with an official time of 12.15. Taft Cagoan finished in fifth place with an official time of 12.17. Henry Ford Powerhouse Pope finished in sixth place with an official time of 12.27. Chicago Leo Bryant finished in seventh place with an official time of 12.35. Henry Ford Powerhouse Posey finished in eighth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 12.37. Northside Sophomore Gabriel Jimenez-Ekman led the Mustangs with a personal best time of 12.58. Northside Freshman Jack Svoboda ran a personal best time of 12.88. Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba finished in SECOND place with a personal best time of 2:07.34. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall. Northside Freshman Danny Rosen finished in THIRD place with a personal best time of 2:14.17. Danny Rosen was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Chicago Leo Townsend finished in fourth place with an official time of 2:15.50. Chicago Leo King finished in fifth place with an official time of 2:18.50. Von Stuben Senior Alcides Diaz finished in sixth place with an official time of 2:21.39. Henry Ford Powerhouse Cannon finished in seventh place with an official time of 2:21.56. In the 4x200m Relay, Chicago Leo won it with an official time of 1:39.80. Henry Ford Powerhouse finished in second place with an official time of 1:44.29. Von Stuben finished in third place with an official time of 1:46.89. Taft finished in fourth place with an official time of 1:47.10. Northside finished in fifth place with an official time of 1:48.60. Northside Sophomore Michael Walt, Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman, Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen, and Freshman Jack Svoboda were awarded RIBBONS for finishing in fifth place overall. Kelvyn Park finished in sixth place with an official time of 1:52.36.
In the Mac Melto 400m Dash, Taft's Tomaszewski won it with an official time of 55.27. Tomaszewski was awarded a plaque for winning the Mac Melto 400m dash. Von Stuben Senior Anthony Hudson finished in second place with an outstanding time of 56.82. Henry Ford Powerhouse Cannon finished in third place with an official time of 56.98. In the 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba ran the first 800m in 2:30, and then ran the final 800m in a NEGATIVE split of 2:25 to WIN it with an official time of 4:55.68. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for winning the 1600m run. Taft's Tobias finished in second place with an official time of 5:06.22. Northside Junior Cesar Rufino finished in THIRD place to secure vital points for the Mustangs with an official time of 5:09.21. Cesar Rufino was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Northside Sophomore Adrian Black finished in fourth place with an outstanding time of 5:12.46. Adrian Black was awarded a RIBBON for finishing in fourth place overall. In the 4x400m Relay, Taft won it with an official time of 3:49.70. Northside finished in second place with an official time of 3:52.13. Northside Senior Patrick Brennan ran a 400m split of 56.69 on the first leg of the relay. Northside Freshman Danny Rosen ran a 400m split of 57.57 on the second leg of the relay. Northside Senior Calvin Gang ran a 400m split of 60.99 on the third leg of the relay. Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba anchored the Mustangs to SECOND place with a 56.88 400m split for an official time of 3:52.13. Patrick Brennan, Danny Rosen, Calvin Gang, and Malcolm Grba were awarded MEDALS for finishing in SECOND place overall. Henry Ford Powerhouse finished in third place with an official time of 4:06.22. Chicago Leo finished in fourth place with an official time of 4:15.66.
