 In the 4x800m Relay, St. Viator won it with an official time of 8:46.00. Northside finished in SECOND place with an official time of 9:23.82. Northside Freshman Danny Rosen ran the first 400m in 65 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 71 seconds for an 800m split of 2:16.63, and then made a perfect exchange to Sophomore Max McCoy. Northside Sophomore Max McCoy ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 73 seconds for an 800m split of 2:20.24, and then made a nice exchange to Sophomore Tom Frejowski. Northside Sophomore Tom Frejowski ran the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 77 seconds for an 800m split of 2:24.94, and the made a nice exchange to Senior Calvin Gang. Northside Senior Calvin Gang anchored the Mustangs to second place by running the first 400m in 67 seconds, and then running the final 400m in 75 seconds for an 800m split of 2:22.01 for an official time of 9:23.82. Danny Rosen, Max McCoy, Tom Frejowski, and Calvin Gang were awarded MEDALS for finishing in SECOND place overall. Calumet Perspectives Charter finished in third place with an official time of 10:08.20. Immaculate Conception finished in fourth place with an official time of 10:34.40.

 In the 4x100m Relay, Calumet Perspectives Charter finished in second place with an official time of 48.41. Northside finished in fourth place with an official time of 52.97. Northside Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen and Freshman Steven Kataba has trouble making the first exchange. Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen ran a 100m split of 15.28 before an exchange could be made to Freshman Steven Kataba. Freshman Steven Kataba ran a 100m split of 12.11, and then made a nice exchange to Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman. Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman ran a 100m split of 12.12, and then made a good exchange to Junior Lawrence Riley. Junior Lawrence Riley anchored the Mustangs to fourth place with a 100m split of 12.98 for an official time of 52.97.

 In the 110m High Hurdles, Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in SECOND place with an official time of 20.20. Matt Osborne was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place. Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in THIRD place with an official time of 20.28. Porter Abbey was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place.

 In the 100m Dash, Calumet Perspectives Lonnie Washington won it with an official time of 11.30. Northside Freshman Steven Kataba finished in fifth place overall with a personal best time of 11.86. Northside Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman ran an outstanding time of 12.90.

 In the Varsity 800m run, Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba ran the first 400m in 60 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 66 seconds to finish in SECOND place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 2:06.70. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall. Malcolm Grba passed both Ezra Edgerton (2:06.90), and Jon Kittaka (2:06.80) for the sixth fastest open 800m run time in the history of Northside College Prep. Northside Junior Cesar Rufino ran the first 400m in 65 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 71 seconds to finish in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 2:16.13. Cesar Rufino was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall.

 In the Sophomore-Freshman 800m run, Northside Freshman Matthew Gomez WON it with a personal best time of 2:18.60. Matthew Gomez ran the first 400m in 66 seconds, and then ran the final 400m in 72 seconds for a personal best time of 2:18.60.

 In the Varsity 4x200m Relay, Northside Sophomore Calvin Kuhnen ran a 25.59 200m split on the first leg of the relay. There was trouble with the hand-off in the first exchange. Northside Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekman ran a 29.05 200m split before being able to make the exchange to Freshman Steven Kataba. There was trouble with the hand-off in the second exchange. Steven Kataba ran a 28.51 200m split on the third leg of the relay. Northside Junior Lawrence Riley anchored the Mustangs to fourth place with a 27.20 200m split, for an official time of 1:50.81.

 In the 400m Dash, Northside Sophomore Malcolm Grba finished in SECOND place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 55.40. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in second place overall. Northside Freshman Danny Rosen finished second in his heat, and fourth overall with a PERSONAL BEST time of 56.83.

 In the Sophomore-Freshman 400m Dash, Northside Freshman Matthew Gomez WON it with a personal best time of 59.39.

 In the 300m Hurdles, Northside Sophomore Matt Osborne finished in THIRD place with an outstanding time of 46.31. Matt Osborne was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in third place overall. Northside Sophomore Porter Abbey finished in fourth place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 48.90.

 In the 1600m run, Northside Senior Patrick Brennan WON it with an outstanding time of 4:42.00. Patrick Brennan was awarded a MEDAL for winning the 1600m run. Patrick Brennan ran the first 400m in 66 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 71 seconds (2:17 800m split), and then ran the next 400m in 73 seconds (3:30 1200m split), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 72 seconds, despite heavy traffic from lapped runners in the final straightaway, for an official time of 4:42.00.

 Northside Junior Cesar Rufino BROKE THE FIVE MINUTES BARRIER with a personal best time of 4:56.60. The five minutes barrier is the bench mark for elite high school milers. Cesar Rufino ran the first 400m in 68 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 74 seconds (2:22 800m split), and then ran the next 400m in 79 seconds (3:41 1200m split), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 75 seconds for a personal best time of 4:56.60.

 Five Northside athletes have broken the five minutes barrier this season, tieing a Team record!!

 In the Sophomore-Freshman 1600m run, Northside Freshman Sarrin Chethik ran the first 400m in 80 seconds, and then ran the next 400m in 90 seconds (2:50 800m split), and then ran the next 400m in 96 seconds (4:26 1200m split), and then ran the final 400m in a NEGATIVE split of 84 seconds to finish in SECOND place with a personal best time of 5:50.00.

 In the 200m Dash, Freshman Jack Svoboda, and Sophomore Alejandro Ballesteros were scratched.
