Northside 4x100m Relay: Jack Svoboda, Steven Kataba, Calvin Kuhnen, Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman

 In 2013, the Northside 4x100m Relay earned All Sectional Honors by finishing in the Top 6 in one of the top sprints sectionals in the State of Illinois. The Northside Varsity 4x100m "A" Relay, consists of 2 Freshman, Jack Svoboda, Steven Kataba, and 2 Sophomores, Calvin Kuhnen, and Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman. imageimageimage

 In addition to anchoring the Northside Varsity 4x100m and 4x200m Relays, Sophomore Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman upset the field in the 200m Dash at the Lake Forest Academy Classic. Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman placed 2nd in the Varsity 200m Dash at Lake Forest, to tie up the score, and provide Northside the opportunity to win the meet in the 4x400m relay.  imageimageimage

Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay Breaks Meet Record at Highland Park Twilight Invitational and WINS City Title!

 On April 19, 2013, the Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay, Danny Rosen, Max McCoy, Matthew Gomez, and Malcolm Grba, upset New Trier, and broke the meet record against all odds, in unthinkable conditions, which included, hail, snow, and 25 mph winds!! It was the greatest performance in the history of the Highland Park Twilight Invitational. The Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay was awarded Meet Record Plaques by Highland Park Head Coach Kevin Gaines.

 On May 3, 2013, the Northside Sophomore 4x800m Relay, Danny Rosen, Max McCoy, Matthew Gomez, and Malcolm Grba came from behind to WIN the Sophomore 4x800m Relay City Title!!! Danny Rosen, Max McCoy, Matthew Gomez, and Malcolm Grba are the first athletes in the history of Northside to WIN the Sophomore 4x800m Relay City Title!
