 In the Sophomore 800m run, Northside Sophomore Distance phenom Alex Ortiz finished in SECOND place overall with an outstanding time of 2:18.30. Alex Ortiz ran 160m splits of 25 seconds, 28 seconds (53 for 320m), 28 seconds (1:21 for 480m), 29 seconds (1:50 for 640m), and then ran the final 160m in a NEGATIVE split of 28 seconds for an official time of 2:18.30. Alex Ortiz scored 8 points in the 800m run!

 Northside Sophomore Brian McManus finished in sixth place overall with an outstanding time of 2:27.10. Brian McManus ran 160m splits of 26 seconds, 28 seconds (54 for 320m), 29 seconds (1:23 for 480m), 33 seconds (1:56 for 640m), and then ran the final 160m in a NEGATIVE split of 31 seconds for an official time of 2:27.10.

 In the Sophomore 4x160m Relay, Northside Sophomore Jacob Cosby exploded off the starting line, and ran an impressive 20.41 160m split, and made a nice exchange to Charles Jones. Sophomore Charlies Jones ran an outstanding 22.70 160m split on the second leg of the relay, and made a good exchange to Khizar Nandoliya. Sophomore Khizar Nandoliya ran an outstanding 23.99 160m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Josh Borgwardt. Northside Sophomore Josh Borgwardt anchored Northside to SECOND place with an impressive 22.48 160m split for an official time of 1:29.58. imageimageimage

 In the Sophomore 600m run, Northside Sophomore Vladimir Andrade finished in 7th place with an outstanding time of 1:53.40.

 In the Sophomore 55m Low Hurdles, Northside Sophomore Jack Nolan dropped almost 3 seconds (12.10) to finish in 5th place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 9.27. Northside Sophomore Christion Guerrero ran a personal best time of 9.90.

 In the Sophomore 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Kyle Friedler ran the first 800m in 2:28, and then ran the final 800m in 2:32 to finish in SECOND place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 5:00.07. In one year, Kyle Friedler dropped 48.73 seconds (5:48.80) from 2014 Niles West Indoor Classic! The best is yet to come! Friedler will be the next Northside athlete to break the five minutes barrier!

 Northside Sophomore Sergio Soto ran the first 800m in 2:41, and then ran the final 800m in 2:55 to finish in seventh place with an outstanding time of 5:36.78.

 Northside Sophomore Jakob Lemke ran the first 800m in 2:53, and then ran the final 800m in 3:05 to finish in tenth place with an outstanding time of 5:58.00.

 In the Sophomore 200m Dash, Northside Sophomore Christion Guerrero ran an official time of 29.74. Northside Sophomore Vladimir Andrade ran an official time of 29.80.
