In the Varsity 4x400m "A" Relay, Glenbrook North (David O'Malley, Jason Golden, Jason Ward, and David Dischinger) won it with an official time of 3:44.74. Northside edged Highland Park to finish in SECOND place with an official time of 3:50.36.

 On the first leg of the relay, Northside made their first exchange so deep in the exchange zone, that they lost time, and Teams were momentarily able to pass them by simply making an open exchange to their respective second runner, as soon as their first runner entered into the exchange zone. Northside Sophomore Brandon Banas ran a 400m split of 59.04 on the first leg of the relay. Northside Junior Porter Abbey ran a 400m split of 58.10 on the second leg of the relay, and made a perfect exchange to Danny Rosen. Northside Junior Danny Rosen closed the gap on Highland Park, and ran a 56.34 400m split on the third leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Malcolm Grba. Northside Senior Malcolm Grba anchored the Mustangs past Highland Park for a SECOND place finish with a 56.08 400m split for an official time of 3:50.36.

 In the Varsity 4x800m Relay, Glenbrook North (David Dischinger, David O'Malley, Nate Whitfield, and Jason Golden) won it with an official time of 8:45.00.

 Northside finished in SECOND place with an official time of 9:30.37. Northside Sophomore Sergio Soto ran a 2:21.68 800m split on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Sarrin Chethik. Northside Junior Sarrin Chethik ran a 2:26.63 800m split on the second leg of the relay, and made an exchange to Adrian Black. Northside Senior Adrian Black ran a 2:21.75 800m split on the third leg of the relay, and made an exchange to Troy Hu. Northside Junior Troy Hu anchored Northside to second place with a 2:20.31 800m split for an official time of 9:30.37.

In the Varsity 55m Hurdles, Northside had a BIG day with FIVE athletes hurdling a season best time and/or personal best time!!

 A Highland Park athlete won the 55m High Hurdles with an official time of 7.90. Glenbrook North's Matt Hayes finished in second place with an official time of 8.01. Glenbrook North's Constantine Beniaris finished in third place with an official time of 8.11.

 Northside Junior Justin Washington dropped 0.32 of  a second (9.06) to finish in FOURTH place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 8.74.

 A Highland Park athlete finished in fifth place to complete the scoring in the 55m High Hurdles.

 Northside Senior Matt Osborne had a HUGE time drop. Osborne ran a time of 9.50 for the 55m High Hurdles in his first two meets of the season. Osborne was fantastic at the Glenbrook North Spartan Indoor Classic. Matt Osborne dropped 0.66 of a second (9.50) to finish in sixth place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 8.84. 

 Northside Junior Garret Barch also had a HUGE time drop. Garret Brach dropped 0.68 of a second (9.56) to finish in seventh place with a PERSONAL BEST time of 8.88.

 Northside Senior Porter Abbey hurdled a season best time of 9.33.

 Northside Junior Christopher Tam hurdled a personal best time of 11.40.

 In the Sophomore-Freshman 55m High Hurdles, Northside Freshman Asher Rappaport dropped 0.82 of a second (11.66) for a PERSONAL BEST time of 10.84. Rappaport as emerged as the Mustangs top Sophomore-Freshman hurdler. Northside Sophomore Christion Guerrero hurdled an outstanding time of 11.09. Northside Sophomore Jack Nolan dropped 0.21 of a second (11.35) for a personal best time of 11.14.

 In the Varsity 55m Dash, Glenbrook North's Michael Papper won it with an official time of 6.13. Glenbrook North's Mason Rosenberg finished in second place with an official time of 6.40. A Highland Park athlete finished in third place. Northside Senior Gabriel Jimenez-Ekhman and Sophomore Jacob Cosby tied for fourth place to complete the scoring with a PERSONAL BEST time for both athletes with a 6.59.

 Northside Freshman Carel Jones ran an outstanding time of 6.77. Northside Freshman Nicholas Brown ran an outstanding time of 6.90. Northside Sophomore Josh Borgwardt ran an outstanding time of 7.03. Northside Senior Harry Winters ran a personal best time of 7.18. Northside Sophomore Charles Jones ran a personal best time of 7.28. Northside Freshman Jonathan Liu ran a personal best time of 8.22.

 In the Varsity 4x160m Relay, Glenbrook North (John Clark, Johnny Gilchrist, Jason Ward, David O'Malley) won it with with an official time of 1:19.26.

 Northside finished in SECOND place with an official time of 1:22.12. It was the fastest Northside 4x160m Relay since 2011! Northside Sophomore Jacob Cosby ran a 160m split of 21.62 on the first leg of the relay, and made a nice exchange to Keith Jones. Northside Junior Keith Jones ran an impressive 160m split of 19.06, and made a good exchange to Brandon Banas. Northside Sophomore Brandon Banas ran a 160m split of 21.23, and made a perfect exchange to Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman. Northside Senior Gabriel Jiminez-Ekhman was outstanding, and anchored Northside to SECOND place with an impressive 20.22 160m split for an official time of 1:22.12!!

 Northside Senior Malcolm Grba has an outdoor 1600m personal best time of 4:36.10 (2014). On Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Glenbrook North High School, on a 160m Track, Northside Captain Malcolm Grba came within 3 seconds of his personal best 1600m time with a 4:39.10 to WIN the 1600m run!!

 In 2015, Malcolm Grba has won the 1000m run at Niles West, the 800m run at Evanston, and the 1600m run at Glenbrook North!

 Malcolm Grba is also a tremendous leader for the TEAM on the roads, in Track workouts, core training, and in the weight room.

 In the Varsity 1600m run, Senior Malcolm Grba ran the first 800m in 2:16, and then ran the final 800m in 2:23 to WIN the 1600m run with an outstanding time of 4:39.10.

 In 2014, it took a time of 4:33.36 to qualify for the Class 3A Indoor State Championships in the 1600m run. In February, Grba is already within 3 seconds of his PR, and within 6 seconds of the 2014 Indoor State qualifying time!
