 In the Varsity 1600m run, Deerfield's Nash won it with a 4:29.7. Nash also won the 800m with a 2:01.9. New Trier's Litowitz finished in second place with an official time of 4:32.0. Vernon Hills Williamson finished in third place with an official time of 4:34.60. Vernon Hills Smith finished in fourth place with an official time of 4:38.20. Northside Junior Danny Rosen finished in fifth place to earn a MEDAL with a season best time of 4:39.80. Danny Rosen ran the first 800m in 2:18, and then ran the final 800m in 2:21 for an official time of 4:39.80. New Trier's Blood finished in sixth place with an official time of 4:42.30. Danny Rosen was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in fifth place overall. imageimageimage

 In the Varsity 1600m run, Northside Sophomore Kyle Friedler ran the first 800m in 2:20, and then ran the final 800m in 2:26 for a PERSONAL BEST time of 4:46.40. Kyle Friedler ran the 15th fastest 1600m time in the history of Northside! Friedler also passed Alumni legend Simon Kafka (4:46.46) on the All time list.

 Kyle Friedler is having a BIG year for the Chicago Northside Mustangs. He won the Sophomore 1600m at Niles West, and Evanston. He finished in second place in the Varsity 1600m at Glenbrook North. He also brought home Medals from the Niles North Viking Relays.

 At Maine East, Northside Sophomore Kyle Friedler finished ahead of ALL of the top Varsity milers from Glenbard East, Leyden, Maine West, Northridge, Maine East, and Schaumburg. Friedler also finished ahead of one of top Deerfield Varsity milers with a personal best time of 4:46.40.

 Friedler followed the meet, with an impressive run and workout on Monday at James Park in Evanston, Illinois.

 In the Varsity 800m run, Deerfield's Nash won it with an official time of 2:01.90. Deerfield Latronica finished in second place with an official time of 2:03.0. Maine East's Haughton finished in third place with an official time of 2:03.3. Rosenkranz, the top indoor 1600m runner for New Trier in the Central Suburban league (4:24) finished in fourth place with an outstanding time of 2:03.6. New Trier Kanwar finished in fifth place with an official time of 2:06.1. Northside Senior Malcolm Grba was boxed in with New Trier for most of the race on the four lanes 160m Track at Maine East. Malcolm Grba broke out of the box to finish in sixth place with an outstanding time of 2:06.6. Malcolm Grba ran 160m splits of 23, 25, 25, 26, and 27 for an outstanding time of 2:06.6. Malcolm Grba was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in sixth place overall. Grba also helped Northside reach the Medal stand in the 4x400m Relay with a very impressive lead off leg. It was also the fastest indoor regular season 4x400m time for Northside.

 Malcolm Grba is having a BIG year. Grba has Won the 1000m run at Niles West (school record), Won the 800m run at Evanston, and Won the 1600m run at Glenbrook North. Malcolm Grba also Medaled at the Niles North Viking Relays with a personal best 1600m time of 4:36.0.

 Senior Malcolm Grba will compete on a 200m Track for the first time this season at the Indoor City Championships on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Proviso West High School. Malcolm Grba always has BIG meets at the Indoor City Championships. Grba helped Northside win the Team title in 2014, by winning the 800m run, and helping Northside pull off an upset victory in the 4x400m Relay. In 2013, Grba helped Northside win the 4x800m Relay, and also finished in the Top 2 in the 800m run at the Indoor City Championships. Grba could be in the 800m, 1600m, 4x400, and/or 4x800m at the 2015 Indoor City Championships.

 Malcolm Grba followed the Maine East Invitational on Monday, by leading the Chicago Northside Mustangs on an outstanding run and workout at James Park in Evanston, Illinois. Grba also had a very impressive day in the Northside weight room.

 In addition to Northside Senior Malcolm Grba earning a MEDAL in the Varsity 800m run, Northside also had a BIG performance from Sophomore Alex Ortiz.

 Alex Ortiz ran 160m splits of 25, 28, 27, 27, and then an EVEN split of 27 for a PERSONAL BEST time of 2:14.19. Alex Ortiz dropped four seconds in the 800m run! Ortiz also helped Northside to the MEDAL stand in the Varsity 4x800m Relay.

 In the Varsity 400m dash, Glenbard East Mikel won it with an official time of 54.1. Northside Senior Tom Frejowski won his heat, and finished in SECOND place overall with an outstanding time of 54.70. New Trier's Mollman finished in third place with an official time of 55.30. Deerfield's Pollack finished in fourth place with an official time of 55.5. Deerfield's Ackerson finished in fifth place with an official time of 55.8. New Trier's Schuldt finished in sixth place to complete the scoring with an official time of 56.10. Tom Frejowski was awarded a MEDAL for finishing in SECOND place overall in the 400m Dash.

 In 2014, Tom Frejowski finished fourth in the 400m Dash at the Maine East Invitational.

 In 2015, Tom Frejowski finsihed SECOND in the 400m Dash at the Maine East Invitational.
