LEAGUE PLAY
Open to Intermediate and Advanced Players who are at least 22 years of age by December 31, 2008 Determination of skill level (Novice, Intermediate or Advanced) will be made by the Senior Hockey Committee (Paul Tomann 216-990-5251, Bob Warshawsky 216-831-0733, Mike Moore 440-585-4113, Tim Bauman 216-761-4830 and Mark Turner 216-371-9848).
Plans are for ten teams, in two divisions, based upon skill level. The A Division is for A and Advanced B players, while the B Division is Intermediate players. Each team will have from 11 to 13 skaters, plus a goalie.
Each team will play approximately 24 games, including regular season and playoffs. Each team will play generally once per week on either Monday (both divisions), Tuesday (A Division only) or Wednesday (both divisions), although it is possible that a team will occasionally play two games in a given week. Games times are yet to be determined, but are generally around 10:00 pm.
Due to rink availability, for the first two weeks of the season (September 14 and September 21) the B games will be played on Sunday and Monday and the A games will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The regular schedule will tentatively resume the week of September 28th.
