2014 Class A State Champs, 2014 2A Region Champs, 2013 Class A State Champs, 2013 2A Region Champs, 2012 Class A State Runner-Up, 2012 2A Region Champs, 2011 State Playoffs.

The Indians traveled to Turner County on Tuesday to finish up the regular season and region schedule.  Jesse King took the mound for the Indians and was fantastic all day.  King gave up just two hits in 6 innings of work while striking out 7.  LJ Talley scorched a triple down the 1st base line in the top of the sixth and was driven home by a basehit to right center field off the bat of Ryan Young.  That was all the scoring on the night.  LJ Talley closed the game out for the Indians throwing 1 scoreless inning for Charlton.  Final score 1-0.   The Charlton County Indians go undefeated in region play (14-0) and move to 23-2 on the season.   The state playoffs begin on May 3.  The Indians will host and are awaiting their match-up.  

Wet night at Indian Field.  The skies opened up after the first inning on Senior Night!  Jacob Baxter, Ryan Young, Scott Beasley, Jacob Popham, and Ryan Murray where the 5 seniors being honored along with our Senior Diamond Girls (Billie Birchall, Chelsea Beard, Britney Cribb).  Things got a little dicey for the Indians during this very soggy game.  Indians found themselves down 3-1 going into the bottom of the 6th.  Ryan Young had pitched a great game, threw 6 complete innings and struck out 13 on the night.  Charlton got one back in the bottowm of the 6th.  Richard Dasher came on to pitch the 7th with the score 3-2, Clinch.  Dasher strikes out the side!  Indians, in the bottom of the 7th get a couple on thanks to a hit batsman and a walk.  Jacob Baxter hits a  blast to the right center gap off the wall to tie the game.  After Clinch loaded the bases to create a force, Richard Dasher walks.......Indians WIN!   The Charlton County Indians are your Region 2A Champions.  Back to Back Region 2A Champions!!!!

The INDIANS scored seven runs in the third on a solo home run by Scott Beasley, an RBI single by Ryan Young, an RBI single by Jesse King, an RBI single by Dylan Turner, an RBI single by Hamp Huling , a sacrifice fly by Beasley, and an RBI single by Brandon Dell.   Jacob Baxter got a hit in each of his three at bats. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and third innings. Charlton racked up 20 hits in the game.

Beasley got the win for Charlton County INDIANS. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out four.  Final score 19-4.
