A 16-run differential over the newly-formed Black Sox gives the Meridians a 4-game win streak with the Sunday sweep. Main highlights are Cutter's 2-run HR to cap off the 10-run rule in Game 1 (11 actually) and Fread's CG in Game 2. Too many runs and 90+ degree heat keeps us from a detailed book, but Rack with at least 4 hits and 5 runs on the day - Cutter with at least 3 hits and 4 runs - Ehrhardt at least 3 hits - Moore and Fread with 3 runs each - Peyton & Soto with multiple hits. Several RBI from the group above as well. Peyton and Rack combine for the Game 1 win. Soto decides not to use the glove after the first ball in play for the day takes a bad hop off the infield lip. An 'almost' web gem on a one-knee throw from Netherly after Fread 'kick saves' a ball up the middle.![image](https://photos-images.active.com/file/1/325/3250743/original/6b9a025e-3a88-4bbf-bf8f-997c575a974e.jpg)

Meridians take the regular season series from the Patriots with 5 runs in the 6th inning in the rubber match! Great start by Rack and Netherly holds on for the win by showing up big when it counted. Multi-hit days for Soto & Netherly with key hits by Rack & Lewis. Parkhurst drove in our first run and held down the other hot corner. Fread was given the first Meridians' intentional walk of the year and got us out of a bases loaded, 1-out inning with a double play on a failed squeeze attempt. Koppenhafer was good luck in his 1st game back by getting an RBI with a HBP. Great "D" by Rack, Jack and as always, back behind the dish by Fread.![image](https://photos-images.active.com/file/1/325/3250743/original/d7d777cc-2c63-4f1f-b776-f97ac13ae255.jpg)

Meridians once again split their Sunday giving Cutter little offense in Game 1 and losing the lead in the 6th, but came back to take Game 2 from the Patriots in relatively easy fashion behind Engoglia. Cooke with 3 RBI on the day, Soto with 2. Web gem to Chuck Moore with a full extension, horizontal grab in right center. Cutter is only one with multiple hits on the day.![image](https://photos-images.active.com/file/1/325/3250743/original/2208d74c-08b3-432c-bd94-72bbc10aa1e0.jpg)

DD update: KC Fread starts on the mound for the first time since Little League and goes the distance allowing only 3 runs to the Cobalts on Friday night (6/23). Unfortunately, the Devil Dog offense gave him no support and his strong debut goes to waste.
A Father's Day sweep of new Shockers team in quick fashion with 4-hit efforts from Bush & Soto and multiple hits from Rack, Ehrhardt, Peyton and Netherly. Wins go to Cremons (CG) and Younger with quick, easy innings from Bush, Peyton and Netherly. Ehrhardt earns a web gem with a diving stop and throw from the hole at 3rd base. Cooke was a 'brick wall' all day behind the plate with Bush being found on the mound, all over the outfield as well as playing a lefty shortstop and 3rd base. Rack got hit twice at the plate, but then tried to kill us with his now patented 'lawnmower' bat!![image](https://photos-images.active.com/file/1/325/3250743/original/e179b275-8b6c-4aed-85c5-b54200ef24d3.jpg)
