The Fury won the Magic Cup in Morgan Hill this weekend in a tune up for Blues Cup. After blowing through their bracket, the Fury met up with its old foe the Santa Clara Sporting Ruckus and their vaunted off side trap. In a game that had some interesting sideline issues the Fury prevailed 1-0.

The Fury Tournament scoring curse continued into the Stampede Tournament. Once again outperforming its ooponents in possession and skill the Fury nontheless fails to get out of its bracket. With 2 wins and one tie the Fury missed advancing again by 1 tournament point. The Fury opened up with an impressive 3 - 1 win over Glendora FC from So Cal. The next game was a bit of a letdown as the Fury were tied by the Tracy Dynamites in a "Forgettable" Performance. In their third game the Fury put 22 shots on goal while only converting 2 of them in a 2-1 victory over Real Colorado. Although the Fury racked up 6 goals and gave up only 3, the tournament ended unexpectedly early for them. Next up is Blues Cup with a determined Fury vowing to advance out of its bracket.

The Fury will be defending its Championship against an incredibly tough field of teams at it's own Stampede classic. The Fury will face teams from Colorado and So Cal as well as the always tough Tracy Dynamite from Nor Cal in its bracket.  Other So Cal powerhouses such as the Blues, Surf and Del mar Sharks are attending.  It should be a great tournament so come out and watch!
