With 3 home runs last night, starting with a grand-slam by Senior Emily Jackson the Woodinville Falcons were off and running against a young Redmond squad. Off for spring break. Back on Monday at Eastlake at 4pm.
Kathryn Hatlen did it on the mound and with the bat last night as the Lady Falcons beat Garfield 24-1. Kathryn capped off a 9 run bottom of the first inning with a 3 run home-run that rattled the fence protecting the tennis courts at Woodinville High School. She also pitched a complete game giving up just one run in 5 innings.
Madi Schreyer goes deep for a solo home run in the 3rd inning to put the Lady Falcons up 1-0 and then drives in two with a sharp single to right center. Buckling down in the pouring rain Madi was able to punch out the hot bats of Newport and hold off a bottom of the ninth rally with a slow roll double play by Emily to Alyssa.
