Warm-up for OUTDOOR at the Middletown Spring Blast

A great (but cold) weekend in Miamisburg, OH to warm up for outdoor (of course it was snowing in Tennessee so what could we expect).
We played well for our first outdoor games of the year giving up just 2 goals in 3 games. Hats off to Danielle Lindsey for the 0.66 goals per game! Good job to the defense as neither goal came on a run-of-play but on a PK and a free kick from just outside the box.
Overall play was excellent as we moved the ball in all three games and played all three games in both ends of the field.
And next weekend gives us a mini-tournament with our first outdoor play against PFC on Saturday and an indoor game Sunday. We finish the indoor season with a doubleheader Tuesday against North United (U15 & U16).
The Indoor season starts and we get to play our first game since last May! With the Steeler success in the playoffs causing rescheduling of games our first game is today.
The Arsenal U15 Girls start indoor pracrice at PISA on November 20th!! With HS season winding down (a few of our girls are on teams going to the State playoffs), its time to get ready for a new indoor season. The team will have three 2-hour practices every other week on 11/20, 12/4 and 12/18. Dates and times are posted on the practices page. See you then!
Next Monday is the first day of official practices/tryouts for High School teams around western PA. Since no player can be on a HS team and a Classic team, all PAWest cup teams in the U15-U19 age brackets take the fall off. Our Aresenal U15 team will regroup in Nov/Dec. See you then!
