Metro United kicked a field goal with 1 minute left to edge the Invaders 11-8. The Invaders drove the ball deep into United's territory several times, but had drives ended by interceptions.
The Warriors AC held the Invaders scoreless for the second time in 2 days to come away with a 14-0 victory. Again, the Invaders drove the ball deep into their opponent's territory several times, but turned the ball over by throwing interceptions.
Invaders Shut Out Rokel Knights 16-0

The Invaders scored on their first two drives and coasted to a easy 16-0 victory over the Rokel Knights. The Invaders' first score was set up by an interception by CB Danny Gay deep in the Knights' territory.
The Invaders began the first game of the MCFFU 2009 VA Beach Tournament with a 19-12 victory over Pfuzion of Georgia. TE Cortez Brooks caught the Invaders' first touchdown after Terrance Leftwich returned a punt inside PFuzion's 15 yard line. CB Jonas "PeeWee" Williams sealed the victory with a 40 yard interception return for a touchdown.
