Congrats to the Union Grove Broncos H.S. softball team on their 2011 Division 2 State Championship! The Twisters are well represented on the Broncos team by: Amber J. 18UBS, Alecia F. 18UBS, Toni DC. 18UBS, Emily DC. 16UGR, Megan Z. 18USP,  and Coach B. Johnson 18UBS.


All of our HS players have had an amazing season with their repective High School teams. Congratulations to ALL!

Average Players believe their errors were caused by things beyond their control (the weather, the umpire, the coach, the field…). Average players blame outside factors for the poor result showing they were not skilled enough to anticipate it, dominate it or learn from it.

Top Players believe they are responsible for the errors. Top performers focus relentlessly on their own performance and on ways to control that performance and as a result give no power to outside forces (like umpires, weather, schedules, fight with parents or boyfriend)

Brenna 'Bug' L. 14UJC was named the recipient of the Catholic Memorial High School Lamberty Kerrigan Music Scholarhip, after recently singing in a competition with other students from the incoming class of 2016.

Jaclyn S.  14MRT pitched a no-hitter on Saturday May 5th, for the Waterford Union H.S. JV team. She pitched 5 complete innings allowing only 3 walks with 8 strikeouts, including striking out the side to close the game.

  took 1st place at National H.S. Powerlifting meet for her weight class! As national champion she will be traveling to Poland to compete on the World Team for 2012. A truly incredible accomplishment Lil' Jo!

Claire B.16USB qualified and recently competed at the National H.S. Powerlifting meet. She finished in 4th place at the national level for her weight class. Wow! Great job Claire!

 traveled to NYC to complete in the Heritage Music Festival with the Gilmore Middle School Choir where they won Gold for the second year in a row.

 was one of the top scorers in Catholic Memorial High School's placement test for 8th graders, qualifying her as a finalist for CMH's Scrima Scholarship. 


12/16/11 TWISTER POWERLIFTERS AT IT AGAIN 

Kimmy J. 18UBS and Claire B. 16USB are bringing a new meaning to the term 'strong women'. They both recently took first place in their respective weight classes at the Arrowhead Powerlifting Invite. Kimmy also won the award for Best Woman Lifter. Great job ladies!

Leanna B. 14UMRT
 was one of only 2 freshman to receive Honorable Mention to the All-Area cross country team by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal. This year she competed in the WI State Division 1 Cross Country Championship Meet on Saturday, October 29th. She finished 74th out of 190 runners, with one of her best times of the year. Congrats on your accomplishments for state Leanna, and great job on your season!

Emily J. 16UDB
 was accepted into Marquette University's Young Scholar Program for Clinical Labratory Science. Normally this program is for Seniors, but Emily was recommended by her counselor and was accepted as a Junior. She will be earning a college credit
by attending 3 Saturday classes.

into leaders of tomorrow...becoming winners in the game of life.
