Varsity caps off all level sweep of Prior Lake with a 46-34 victory

After seeing the Freshman win 57-35, the Sophomores win 43-36 and the JV dominate Prior Lake 69-19 the Varsity capped off a successful sweep of the Laker program with a 46-34 win.
The Lakers came out srong and took advantage of some early miscues by the Falcons but it was not enough as the Falcons went into half with the lead. The Falcons tigten up their defense and held Prior Lake to limited scoring opportunities in the 2nd half. Offensively Nicole Dooher led the way and Stephanie Loobek showed her dominance on the post. Defensive standout Danielle Rahja shut down the Lakers #1 scorer holding her to just 4 points. Next up for the Falcons is Champlin Park, who has spent the first part of the season being ranked 2nd in the state by numerous polls.
Freshman stumble against Minnetonka

The second game on the road did not fair to well for the Freshman squad as they fell to conference foe Minnetonka 42-35. The Falcons were led by 8 points from Dominique Thompson and some very strong defensive play of Angela Parker. Next up is Prior Lake Friday 12/01.

The Freshman will play Minnetonka at Minnetonka East Middle School. The address is 17000 Lake Street Ext. in Minnetonka. From 494 you will take that south to Hwy 5 exit. Take Hwy 5 west to 101. Take a left and head south on 101 until you come to Lake Street Extension. Take a left and the school will be on your left hand side about 1/2 mile down the road.
Sophomore and Freshman team win season opener

The Sophomore Girls won 46-27 against Hill-Murray. After coming off a slow first half Armstrong held Hill-Murray to just 11 points in the second half and produced 28 points. Led by Sophia Nolan with 15 and Liz Wilson with 12, their team defense and smothering press allowed them to pull ahead.
The Freshman Girls won 56-22 against Hill-Murray behind a strong defensive showing and a very well balanced offensive attack. Abby Kvidera and Kelly Kranz led the way with 10 points each.
