Armstrong Falcons Girls Basketball

Varsity and JV will be headed to Alexandria Minnesota this Friday to play in a two day tournament. In opening day games the JV will play Moorhead at 3:30pm and Varsity will also play the Spuds with their gametime set for 6pm.

The Varsity team used a very balanced attack to dominate a very strong Woodbury squad. Junior Stephanie Loobeck and Sophomore Nicole Dooher were named to the all-tournament team. The 70-52 victory capped off a 3 level sweep of the Woodbury Winter Wonderland tournament. More details to come... Next up the Varsity and JV will travel to Alexandria to play in another Holiday tournament.

Coach Kenady is very pleased with the play of the team. The Sophomores rolled up another big victory last night over Bloomington Jefferson 51-30 behind the sharp shooting of Nikki Carlson. Nikki had 12 to lead the Falcon Sophomores. Next up is the Championship game of the Woodbury Tournament where they will play host Woodbury. Game time is set for 3pm.

Behind the 18 points, 8 rebound performance of Nicole Dooher and the 13 points from Stephanie Loobeck the Falcons heated up the gym with a win over Bloomington Jefferson 51-39. The win capped off a 3 game sweep of the sophomores, JV and Varsity versus Jefferson. Next up the Varsity, JV and Sophomores will play in the Championship games in their respective levels against Woodbury. Game times are listed i nthe schedule section.
