The game started slow with both teams struggling to get baskets but the Falcons, behind a 17 point 12 rebound performance from Amanda Viehauser, used strong defense and the ability to get to the bucket to overcome the slow start.

The Armstrong Falcons traveled to Wayzata High School in pursuit of one thing... a conference win. The Falcons pulled together a great team defensive effort to beat the Trojans on the road 57-47. The win was the Falcons 2nd in a row. The Falcons started quickly as they hit numerous shots in the paint and was able to control the long range shooting of the Trojans. At half time the Falcons headed into the locker room with a 12 point lead but knew that I great 2nd half would need to be played.

The Falcons and Trojans traded hoops most of the 2nd half with the Falcons matching the Trojans 3 point shooting. Danielle Rahja and Nicole Dooher both had big 3 point shots to close the door on a strong 2nd half from the Trojans.

Dooher led all Falcon scorers with 21 points. Amanda Viehauser and Steph Loobeck added 13 and 12. Rahja contributed with a strong 7 points and Sophomore Kristi Loobeck continues to give the Falcons quality minutes off the bench.
