Henrik Zetterberg, in association with Hockey Weekly and Watson Sports Associates, is establishing the Henrik Zetterberg Michigan High School Hockey Scholarships to be awarded in March 2009 to one boy and one girl who play High School Hockey.

Ann Arbor Pioneer earned a hard fought 2-0 victory against the Division 2 leading Mercy Marlins. There was no scoring in the first period. Both teams continued to skate hard, there was no scoring until Angie Chronis scored an unassisted goal. The second period ended with Pioneer in the lead by 1 goal. The third period started much the same, good goal tending and both teams playing tough team defense. Midway through the third Angie Chronis took the puck end to end to get her second unassisted goal of the night to end the scoring.
Ann Arbor Pioneer's next game Monday 12/15 against division rival GP North. Game Time is 4:45 at Vets. This will be another tough test for the girls. Go Pioneer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
