Blanket Sale Volunteers needed for Conferences
1) Our next Marching Band show is this Friday, October 8th.
Call time is 5:15pm.
Wear black socks & t-shirt.
Pre-game begins at 6:40pm; Kick-off is 7pm.
2) The Happenings Book fundraiser is now complete.
Please turn in your money for books sold to Barb in the office.
Checks are made out to “AHS Band”.
Return unsold books to the band directors.
3) If you ordered an “AHS Marching Band” sweatshirt, please pay for it ASAP!
We have over 40 people who have not yet paid, and we are in the red since this bill had to be paid!
Checks are made out to “AHS Band” - $24 if no name was added; $28 if name was added.
Give checks to Allison Hall, our student teacher in the band department this quarter.
4) Our next Band Boosters meeting is this Monday October 11th at 7:00pm.

5) Orchestra Hall Music Festival Performance – Symphonic Band Personnel
Rehearsal will be during the school day Monday, October 18th noon-3pm.
Performance on Tuesday, October 19th at 7:30pm.
Ticket sales: a yellow ticket order form will be available during band beginning today (10/6)
Bring completed order form and money to Barb in the office.
Last date for advance Music Festival ticket sales is 10/18.
PLEASE NOTE: Attire for this performance is formal – ladies: long black dress, gentlemen: tuxes.
If you have questions on attire, see Mr. Burkholder.
6) Blankets will be sold during Conferences this week and next.
Five more volunteers are urgently needed to assist with this important fundraiser.
Shifts available:
Thursday, October 7th (that’s tomorrow!) 6:00-8:00pm 1 volunteer needed
Tuesday, October 12th 4:00-6:00pm 2 volunteers needed; and 6:00-8:00pm 2 volunteers needed
Prices: $35 for 1 blanket; $60 for 2 blankets.
