Past Club Athlete Graham Hood Interview
September 5th, 2013
Graham Hood of Burlington, Ontario is a former world-class middle-distance runner who specialised primarily in the 1500 metre event. He starred on the legendary NCAA first division, Arkansas Razorback team under the tutelage of the great, John McDonell. Hood helped the Razorbacks win multiple NCAA titles in cross-country, indoor and outdoor track while on their way to winning a record 41 national championships.

SENIOR DISTANCE PROGRAM
THE SENIOR DISTANCE PROGRAM IS COACHED BY Coach Tammy

Practices will be three times a week - Sunday mornings place to TBD each week
Mondays will be a group long run out of Tansley Woods meeting at 6:30pm
Wednesday evenings at St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Oakville starting January 11th at 7:30 pm

JUNIOR CROSS COUNTRY PRACTICE
Cross Country practice for the Junior group will begin Monday September 9th, 2013 at LaSalle Park.
Practice nights will be Monday and Thursday both starting at 6pm until 7:30pm. Please come dressed appropriatley for the weather as we do practice rain or shine. Proper running shoes are required along with a waterbottle.
I highly recommend bug spray as we do run into the woods and in the grass areas where all those pesky mosquitoes are.

Armstrong, Radoslav, Simpson and Eskandar in Langley British Columbia
August 11th, 2013. Langley, British Columbia
Zaria Armstrong doubled with bronze medals at the Canadian Legion Youth Championships from Langley BC this weekend. She ran a 100m time of 12.41 and 25.55 for 200m in the girls under 16 age class.
Savannah Simpson and Tasia Radoslav also competed in Langley in the under 18 age class. Savannah placed 9th in the 100m (12.65) and 5th in the 200m (25.57 personal best) while Tasia picked up 4th's in the 400m clocking 57.53 and 43.69 over the 300m hurdles.
Andrew Eskander placed the 5kg shot 12.36m to round out the top 15 group.
