The 2009 Regular Season schedule has been posted on this web site.  Both the Calendar menu and the Schedule menu in the left margin will list upcoming games.

The 2009 Season will open with a One Pitch Jamboree, to be played on Sunday, May 3rd.  Each team will participate in a 7 inning / one hour game.  All league rules apply, with the noticeable change of each batter only seeing one pitch per at bat.

The schedule is as follows:

12:00 Noon Healy Oil @ Willis Tent

1:00 PM Mario's Restaurant @ Drew Farm

2:00 PM Floral Arts @ Mustangs

3:00 PM PST @ Short Cut

As part of the festivities, the league will be sponsoring a bbq for all participants and their families.

Regular season play will open on Tuesday, May 5th with Drew Farms and the Mustangs facing off at 6:30, followed by defending champion Healy Oil hosting PST at 7:45.

Registration is now closed for the 2009 Entry Draft.  Thank you to all who have submitted their applications.  The draft will take place Monday night, March 30th.  All applicants will be contacted by a league representative with the results.  Due to the large number of entries, not all prospective players will be drafted and a waiting list will be developed from those who go undrafted.  Those who are on this list will also be contacted to inform them of this status.

In other news, the One Pitch Tournament to celebrate the opening of the season is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, May 3rd. Watch this site for more details as the date approaches.

Opening Day for 2009 will be Tuesday, May 5. Look for the season to start with a bang- a rematch between last year's top two teams- regular season champ PST and playoff champ Healy Oil.

Despite the recent weather, the 2009 season is just around the corner.  The league is now accepting applications for the 2009 draft.  Any interested player over 30 years old who lives or works in Westford is encouraged to submit an application by Friday, March 27.  The application is available in both Microsoft Word or PDF format in the Handouts page (found in the left hand navigation margin on this page).  Please forward the completed application to League Secretary John Bodi.

In control from start to finish, Healy Oil defeated PST 11-3 in Game 5 to win their third Championship in the past four years.
