Dear Little League Families:
South Kingstown American & National Little League (SKLL) will hold its Annual General Membership Meeting on Wednesday October 17, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Neighborhood Guild. The meeting is open to all adult members of SKLL. The agenda shall be: Reports of 2007 season, Review of 2008 season goals, and election of Board of Directors. Following the General membership meeting, the new Board shall meet to elect the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Safety Officer, & Player Agent as required by Little League International. The new Board shall also determine other Board positions and committees as deemed appropriate to conduct the business and affairs of SKLL.
Anyone interested in serving on the Board of Directors must contact the Secretary- Sean Deibler at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message on SKLL voicemail at 782-3410, by October 10, 2007. Candidates must be SKLL members in good standing, be willing to oversee a division of play or other programs of SKLL, be committed to the ideals & philosophy of Little League Baseball, be willing to attend monthly (or more) meetings, and cannot be participants in an outside baseball organization of similar aged players. Parents who do not manage or coach in SKLL are encouraged to consider serving on the Board of SKLL.

All baseball players Little League ages 9, 10, 11, and 12 (Baseball Age Chart) and not currently on a major league team, must participate in the evaluation process. If they can not make thier scheduled time, they must show up at one of the other times on Saturday or Sunday. If they can not make any of the times then they must call the league phone number and leave a message. Please see the Calendar section for dates and times.
If a player does not participate in any evaluation, they will not be eligible for the major league and also will not be eligible for any post season tournaments (All-stars, Friendship, Sally Eddy, etc..).
All softball players Little League ages 10, 11, and 12, (Softball Age Chart) and not currently on a major league team,
or Little League ages 13, 14, and 15; must attend thier scheduled time.
