Emilie Scheetz, Alexander Brand, and Kaiwen “Roderick” Shi traveled to Santa Fe College in Gainesville on Friday to participate in the Florida Theatre Conference. During their time at FTC, they auditioned for colleges and attended college workshops. College Fair – College/University/Conservatory representatives from across the nation were present to answer questions our students had about arts programs, financial aid, and application to their schools. Over fifty colleges/universities/conservatories sent their representatives to view acting, musical theatre, and technical auditions and to discuss admission and scholarships.

Members of the WPS Percussion Ensemble performed an upbeat cadence for the 8th-grade students just before Continuing the Crest!

THE WPS Wind Ensemble and Windermere Singers performed musical selections _Let Freedom Ring, Stars & Stripes Forever, God Bless The U.S.A., the Armed Forces Medley_, and our National Anthem for a gathering of about 1400 people during the Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Friday, November 10. The Faculty & Staff Choir, Laker Singers, performed an original composition arranged by Mr. Ryan Streb, Lower School Music Teacher, written (lyrics and music) by our Headmaster, Dr. Tom Marcy, titled Red, White, and Blue; Mean Everything To Me.

A beautiful sunset created a stunning backdrop for our performers during the annual WPS Fall Festival. Thank you to Tri-M for their incredible efforts in putting the program together. Congratulations to all performers! WPS Fine Arts was represented very well.
