Step up to the Majors with Pitch Hit & Run!

Major League Baseball® Pitch Hit & Run is a free event that provides boys and girls — ages 7 to 14 — an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills, while earning a chance to attend and perform during the MLB® World Series!

Athletes are tested, and their measurements are recorded. Based on their scores, they advance from a local event to a Team Championship held in MLB stadiums. Top scores then qualify for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to compete at the National Finals, which is hosted at the World Series.

In the DBB 15U World Series held in Sterlington Louisiana Louisiana had four of the final eight out of a twenty four team tournament. In that feat we had the top two in the tournament as well.

Named the 15U World Series Champions was JPRD East
Named the Runners UPS was Southern Elite

In the 17U World Series held in Sterlington Louisiana as well Louisiana once again proved to be the team to beat. We saw Southland and Sterlington face off in the championship game and Southland won 4-3.

In the 19U held in Nashville Tennessee Southland was named the Runners UPS

As you can tell we were very well represented and proud to have a tradition in Louisiana DBB of a winning tradition.

Louisiana DBB under the Leadership of State Director and Assistant State Director Rick Berry was well represented at the DBB 15U World Series held this week in Sterlington, Louisiana . Having the top two teams in the Championship game out of a 24 team Series.
JPRD East defeated Southern Elite 4-1 to claim the championship.
