For next week games we still have 4 teams from each division.

In an all EDSL Flamhaft State Cup Semifinals:
Westchester CF won by the score of 6-2 vs. San Onofre and
Yorktown won their semifinal by the score of 3-1 vs. Stade Breton.
State cup final on June 8th at the Verrazzano Sport Complex in Brooklyn will see Westchester vs. Yorktown to determine the Eastern New York State Cup Champion.

O30 State Cup Semifinal Poughkeepsie lost 1-2 vs. S Baisley of Long Island.
This is the 4th time these 2 teams faced each other in the state cup semis and both won twice and of course lost twice to each other.

2012-2013 Champions Crowned

Posted by Over 30 at Jul 1, 2013 9:07AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Well a very successful season is over. Congratulations to Poughkeepsie for winning the A division over a very good Yorktown team. In the B division Washingtonville dominated and won their first ever league championship. Mahopac will be joining them next season in their journey to the A division. LaGrange and Hudson Valley will be competing in the B division next season hoping for an opportunity to return to the A division. It won’t be easy as the B division has some excellent teams too. Have a great summer! We suggest that you solidify your teams over the next month to see exactly which players will be coming back for next season. This summer should be used as a time to recruit some good players who are reliable and will be there every Sunday. Do not hesitate as competition in the O30 divisions is becoming tougher with each successive season! Please watch your e-mails for the date of the Annual General Meeting. It is normally held about the second week in August at Papa John’s. This meeting is MANDATORY so that we know how many teams will be back and whether we can be accepting new applicants.
Best wishes,
Rudy and John
