Guiteras Field was the site of a heavy weight bout between the East Greenwich Avengers and Vogie of Mt. Hope.

The game had five lead changes, was tied at three different times and had a successful suicide squeeze.

Evan Macaulay lead the way offensively for the Avengers. He collected two hits, walked twice and scored four runs.

The game was knotted at 7-7 going into the last inning. With one out, Christian Falcone successfully executed a suicide squeeze to score pinch runner Evan Greenberg from third base to put the Avengers up 8-7.

Vogie needed two to win and had the top of their order due up in the bottom of the 7th. With one out, Cam Connor was hit by a pitch and stole second base. Andrew Jones followed with a single and stole second.

With runners on second and third, Matt Gale delivered a walk-off double scoring both Vogie runners!

Vogie’s offense was lead by Andrew Jones (3/5 with a triple), Matt Gale (2/4 with a double) and Dayton VanAmberg (2/4 with a double).

Chariho came away with a 12-2 win over Tiverton.

The offense was led with Jack Kesner and Caden Babcock, who had multiple hit games and and Brendan McGovern who scored three times.

On the mound Justin Giles was in command the entire way allowing just 2 hits throwing a complete 5 inning game.

Led by the offensive onslaught of Gavin Rodman (3/4, one double & 2 runs scored), the Lions stayed unbeaten with an 8-2 victory over the Bulldogs of Westerly.

Narragansett/South Kingstown continued their hot hitting by producing 8 runs on 12 hits.
Patrick Ruhle chipped with two hits and three rbi’s and Aidan Burdick tacked on another two-hit performance.

Brendan Flaherty had another strong pitching outing, striking out seven batters and allowing just two hits in four innings of work.

Gavin Rodman closed the door on the Bulldogs finishing the last three innings with three strikeouts.

The Bulldogs tried to mount a come back in the fifth inning scoring two runs, but the Lions defense was able to hold them off.

Fresh off a tie with Chariho, the Lions came out swinging in their game against Warwick PAL. As a result, they were able to defeat Warwick, 13-0.

The offense was powered by Jimmie Robbin (3/3, 2 rbi’s), Ben Paskalides (2/3, 1 rbi), and Tyler Poirier (2/3, 4 rbi’s).

Robbin continued his dominance on the mound for the Lion’s throwing 4 innings, striking out 7, and only allowing just one hit for the victory.

Aidan Burdick closed the door on Vets in the 5th inning by striking out two of the final three batters.

Led by the strong complete game effort by Dayton VanAmberg, Vogie was able to secure a 10-3 victory over East Providence. In seven innings, he allowed just three hits.

With the game tied at 3-3, Vogie’s offense exploded in the fifth inning with three consecutive doubles by Cam Connor, Andrew Jones and Matt Gale to score six runs to break open the game.

Vogie’s offense was led by Cam Connor, Andrew Jones and Matt Gale who all had a multi hit game. Lead-off hitter Jack Standish was on base three out of four times, scoring twice. In addition, Aidan MacDougall, batting out of the ten hole, scored two runs.
