SUMMER CLINICS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION

BYSC will offer a Summer Skills Clinic for all Members of both the InHouse and Travel Programs.  This Clinic will focus on fun and games for the younger players and individual skill development, game knowledge and conditioning for the older players.   The Program will be conducted by BYSC Professional Trainers - Bob Martin, Vincent Kwarula and Paul Morant.


The Program will be conducted at West Patent Elementary School.  The Clinic will consist of five (5) Sessions.  The participants have a choice of one of two weeks - Monday, August 09th through Friday, August 13th or Monday, August 16th through Friday, August 20th.

The morning Session each week will be for PreK, Kindergarten, First and Second Graders - 9:00 to 11:00 for Pre-K and Kindergarten and 9:00 to 12:00 noon for First and Second Graders. The afternoon Session each week - 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM - will be for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th Grade In-House and Travel Players.

The Program will be conducted as a Coed Clinic.  The cost of the Clinic is $175.00.

Players should wear their BYSC In-House reversible jereys, shin guards and cleats (pinnies will be provided for Travel Players).  All players MUST bring sufficient water to last the entire Session.  Parents of the Pre-K and Kindergarten players must stay throughout the Session.

Winter Skills Clinics for in-house and pre-travel players are now open for registration.

ALL WINTER CLINICS ARE COED!

Sunday Winter Skills Clinic - 2010

The Indoor Skills Clinic is open to all BYSC Members currently attending Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, Second and Third Grades. The program will be conducted at the Fox Lane Middle School Gymnasium.

There will be eight (8) Sunday Sessions starting on January 10th and ending on March 07th with Coach Bob Martin. (There will be no session February 21st) 

11:00- 12:00 - Pre-K

12:00-1:00 - Kindergarten

1:00-2:00 - 1st grade

2:00-3:00 - 2nd & 3rd grade

Tuesday Winter Skills Clinic is cancelled for 2010 due to lack of participation

Click on the Registration and WYSL Links tab and then the registration link to register your child. Fees for 2010 are the same as 2009 - $150 per child. Note - winter training is indoors in the gym, so children should have sneakers or indoor soccer shoes and shin guards for each session.  PLEASE MAKE SURE TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD FOR THE RIGHT PROGRAM - CAREFULLY READ THE DESCRIPTIONS ON THE REGISTRATION SITE BEFORE YOU CLICK TO REGISTER!!!!

Friday's (Nov. 13) Pre-travel under the lights events has been moved to Nov. 20th

This Friday's (Nov. 13) Pre-travel under the lights events has been moved to the following Friday, November 20th from 5 PM until 7 PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.  The change is due to a scheduling conflict with another youth program.  As a courtesy to the town, BYSC agreed to move the under the lights event to the 20th.  We thank you for your understanding. If you are still able to make the event, there is no need to reply to this email.  However, if this change effects your child's ability to participate in the program (either previously coming and now not, or previously not coming and now will), please do let us know. Thank you again- we look forward to seeing you all there! Best,  Chris Parrott BYSC In-House Coordinator ckparrott@mac.com

Alert Impact of moving the clocks back on Wednesday training sessions

The Wed. mid-week in-house plus program will move to 3:30 - 4:45 beginning Nov. 4th and run through the 18th.  The location stays the same BVMP.  Please be prepared to pick up your child by dusk.  Also to NOTE: Practice is ON today.

Up coming Pre-travel time and location changes

Please be advised that on November 4, 2009, the Pre-Travel program will begin at 3:30 and end at 4:45 due to daylight savings time.

The following two Wednesdays, November 11 & 18, 2009, the Pre-Travel program will return to its normal time 4-5:30 but will be conducted at Bedford Hills Memorial Park under the lights.
